This island is an aesthetically pleasing and is a great storage solution. It does take a while to put together but is super sturdy. Would definitely buy again!

Great value for your money I highly recommend
Oh my God, I was looking for an island to separate my living room from the kitchen and this was just perfect with massive storage space if you’re limited on cabinet space it was easy to assemble a great quality I also bought two stool separately to go with it and now I got a perfect island/eating table and a plenty of storage.

Beautiful and highly functional. A bit of a pain to put together
First off, I'm incredibly happy with this purchase. Since you're probably wondering, yes the finished product really does look as good as the official pictures. I got this to complement my small kitchen and now I couldn't imagine the space without it. I use the shelves to store pots, pans, and small appliances. I use the drawers to store all of my glass food storage containers. And the towel racks are a lifesaver. Now, while I give this product 5 stars and I'm deeply impressed at the quality for the price, I feel I should still mention the shortcomings. First, the directions understate how long this takes to put together. My father and I are both reasonably handy and it took us almost 6 hours to finish this together. You might be able to rush through it faster, but we took the time to try and get everything secure and aligned properly. Many of the fasteners seemed a bit flimsy. Also, while it says its MDF, it looks to me like its made of particle board. I had my doubts about the sturdiness of this while putting it together, but the finished product seems very solid and I expect it to last for many years. The top also thankfully really is solid wood and provides a great surface to work and eat on. I use this as my dining table as well as a food prep surface as my place is quite small. It works well for both as it comfortably has room for two stools. Initially the island seemed unsteady and felt like I might topple it over when resting an arm with some body weight on the fold-out section. My solution was to put some weight plates at the bottom of the cabinets, and to store my cast iron pans in there. This worked wonderfully as I can really lean on the fold-out section and it still feels solid and stable. An extra hundred pounds or so down near the bottom of the unit really made all the difference. Note: I also customized it by switching the handles for ones that matched my built-in cabinets.

Qsun Kitchen Island with Drop Leaf and Storage, on Wheels - Assembly & Overall Product Satisfaction
I’m very impressed with this cabinet overall. The instructions were easy to follow, though a few steps could have been clearer. There was minor damage to the bottom panel, but it’s in a corner underneath the cabinet and not visible. Unfortunately, with heavy furniture that ships in large boxes, some small damage is almost inevitable. Assembly took me about 8 hours, but that’s because I’m recovering from back surgery and had to work mostly sitting down. For someone in good physical condition, I’d estimate 4–5 hours. Pros: Attractive design and sturdy build, Instructions generally clear. Cons: Screws intended to secure the drawer to the metal slide were too small for the prefab holes. I had to improvise by using different screws and reinforcing with glue. Attaching the top to the base is challenging for one person because all brackets need to align perfectly. Despite these issues, I’m very happy with the result. With a few improvements to hardware and instructions, this would be a near-perfect product.

A very solid and nice looking item
This is a very solid item. It also looks really good when it is done. The quality is better than any assemble-yourself product I have ever bought. It does take some time to put together. Many reviewers have said 5 hours, I got it done in a little over 4 hours. If you read the directions thoroughly and don't try to rush it you should have no problems. A couple of suggestions: 1) It has you first assemble the two ends and middle pieces. When it tells you to start putting the bottom together stand it upside down. 2) All of the pieces and hardware are numbered or lettered. Set everything out in order before you start and you will same yourself some time.

Perfect fit and quality!
This kitchen island truly exceeded my expectations! Despite it took me about two hours, the assembly was incredibly easy - every hole was exactly where it needed to be, making all doors and components perfectly aligned. The quality of the materials is fair. I absolutely love my new kitchen island - it looks amazing and feels premium.

Qsun Kitchen Island
I ordered this island to replace an older, smaller island. All parts were included, clearly marked and the island went together perfectly. As others have commented, it does take a while to assemble. But if you take your time and follow the step-by-step instructions it assembles perfectly. The only negative comments I have is there was one very small blemish on the top surface that probably occurred in shipping. The unit was shipped via FED EX and the shipping container had been heavily taped up due to tears and holes punched or cut in it. Per my experiences with FED EX this is common! In this case, it may have been due to the fact that the package was in excess of 100 pounds.

Have some patience
It took about 3 hours with 2 people to assemble. Instructions could be better, so pay attention. The locking wheels aren’t as good as they should be. Tends to easily move when wheels are locked. Would be better if 4 locked instead of 2. Pre drilled holes could have been better. Crappy particle board so be careful to not over tighten wood screws. Left drawer predrilled holes were off so I had to adjust drawer slide otherwise the drawer stuck out crooked when in closed position. Make sure to put some weight in the bottom of the cabinet or when you use the drop leaf the entire cabinet will tip over. Maybe a stabilizer leg would be in order. Tips easily so it’s hazardous to small children I like the looks of it and it’s probably better quality than IKEA. (Marginally) . Cost me $280 with shipping. I think $200 with shipping would be more appropriate After one week the drop leaf is separating. I notified seller to see if they will send replacement piece UPDATE 5/15/24 Drop leaf is splitting apart and I requested a replacement top. They wouldn’t / couldn’t comply with that request but did compensate me. So I am happy with customer service but unhappy with quality of product
