The storage roll is well made with good material and keeps the silver free from oxidation. However although the width of individual sections suit later (post 1710) spoons earlier examples are a very tight fit and take a lot of pushing and wriggling to get an individual spoon into its slot.

It is difficult to know how effective this is after several months to reduce tarnishing and appears ok for cutlery-so far.The roll bag has a good, quality feel and provides confidence about its protective ability. If you like nice packaging this is fine - it looks high end; but an option of simpler packaging without the expensive box would be appreciated to avoid more landfill.I understand this is still made in England so perfect as a quality gift (but not for children) for those with good quality silver. I don't think you will be disappointed

Compact and tidy space saving.

Keeping the silver or silver plated cutlery in this cuts the cleaning down. Remember to wash the cutlery before use though, it gets a taint otherwise. Wrap does its job and and keeps things tidy and protected. We have the blue but there is a grey option. Recommended.

As described and just what I wanted. Intend to order more - I have a lot of cutlery.
