La Roche Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50+ Ultra-Light Fluid 50ml

I have greasy (but also sensitive) skin and when I wear normal suncream, it sometimes stings and also makes my skin even greasier so even though this was pricey I thought I'd give it a go. When the bottle arrived I was really surprised at how small it was (smaller than my phone!) but I took this on a two-week holiday and I don't think I'm even halfway through the bottle yet. I only use it for my face but you really don't need much. It feels just like moisturiser - it's not heavy or sticky or greasy, I can barely tell that I'm wearing suncream. I absolutely love it and the size is actually great for carrying around in your handbag for a top up during the day (not that I ever need to top up). Worth every penny.

Light non-greasy easily absorbed texture, applied after moisturiser and skin was protected during 4 hours+ walking around in the sun. I used it on my lips too over o'Keefe lip balm and they felt smooth and moisturized all day which is unusual for me. Bottle is small flat shape to put in pocket or bag didn't leak and packaging intact when arrived the day after I ordered. Highly recommend.

I wanted to love this so much, not least because it was expensive for a sunscreen. I had high hopes, having read good reviews on it for acne prone skin. I've never been able to use sunscreen because it breaks me out. Unfortunately this was the same. My skin is dry and adult acne prone, but I've controlled it for years with a good routine so it's usually clear and even. This product is strongly scented and I'm sure the perfume irritated my skin. Within two days of using this I noticed that the sensitive skin around my nostrils was burning and itchy, like I'd put lemon juice or alcohol on my skin. In under a week my skin quality had noticeably degraded, with papules all over my cheeks and whiteheads on my nose and forehead. I stopped using it and my skin started to clear up. It's a shame because the finish was good-- no ashiness, a nice dewy shine but no greasiness, and it spread well. In that week my sun freckles also faded a little. It may well still work for less acne prone skin than mine, or for acne problems caused by excess oil rather than sensitivity.

I purchased this based on recommendation from my dermatologist. I have moderate rosacea, and extremely sensitive skin (even when rosacea is not flaring up). This product is very light weight, did not irritate my skin, and performed very well, even during moderate outdoor activity. It is expensive, but I feel very worth it. Will definitely order again.

This is really good stuff, it is absolutely clear when applied, it works as I have a fair skin and it goes a very long way. It is expensive and I confine its use to my face and other sensitive areas and it would easily last a two week holiday and given the protection that it offers and the appearance and feeling of it on application it is well well worth it.

I know the importance of wearing sun cream but I found it hard to find a cream that went on smoothly and absorbed quickly before applying make up. So ended up not wearing it much. Until I found this product. I wear daily. - smooth on the skin - thin texture and you don’t need to add a lot on your hand before applying - absorbs quickly - no white colour to it when applied - makeup sits well for the day - would buy again

I love this product, don’t even feel it on my face, no shiny or greasy, just right. And it protects very well. Only that I had to wait two weeks to get it, and it is quite expensive for a very small amount but it is the best I have ever had.

Pay attention to bottle size, it is tiny for the price! Good product but purchased as had read it is suitable to use as a daily sunscreen under make up etc - it is not, just as bright white and greasy/sticky as regular sunscreen so use at the beach but not suitable for everyday use under makeup.

Besonders erwähnenswert ist auch, dass die Creme keine weißen Rückstände hinterlässt, was bei vielen anderen Produkten oft ein Problem ist. Sie ist außerdem gut verträglich und hat bei meiner empfindlichen Haut keine Reizungen oder Unreinheiten verursacht. Ich kann diese Sonnencreme uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Sie ist der perfekte Begleiter für sonnige Tage, ob am Strand, im Park oder einfach im Alltag. Eine Investition, die sich wirklich lohnt!
