Invasion! DC Crossover TV Event [DVD] [2016]

As a fan of Arrow, this crossover was great. Although very different to your typical Arrow episodes, it was very enjoyable to watch. I also like the crossovers with The Flash. Would recommend this crossover if you are a DC fan.

As someone that hasn't actually been able to see Arrowverse DC shows, This is actually a great introduction. YES, there are continuity plot points that left me confused, but fortunately, that didn't spoil the viewing too much. The cover is deceptive as Supergirl joins the crossover, but her eponymous TV show isn't one of the episodes featured. also, Arthur Darvill, who I'd heard was in the Legends Of Tomorrow series, and is also on the cover, didn't feature in the crossover at all!What I was left with having watched the crossover, is that I need to get round to watching or buying the respective seasons of the DC shows. Having been a fan of Smallville back in the day, these are right up my street!

2017's major Arrowverse crossover event on a single dvd! Live action DC Comics superheroes have never had a gathering like this and someone at the CW realized that fans would love to be able to watch the three episode spectacle in one sitting without having to change dvds. Reminiscent of 70's and 80's Saturday morning cartoons (right down to a repurposed S.T.A.R. Labs hangar that looks just like the Superfriends' Hall of Justice), Supergirl, The Flash and Green Arrow along with almost all of their sidekicks team up to battle an alien invasion. Plenty of action, lots of superheroes and a dash of humour make for a fantastic three episode event.Fan service at its best!

I'm annoyed that I had to buy the crossover on a separate disc instead of just including it on the boxset. If you're watching The Flash Season 3 in particular you probably should buy this as important plot points happen.But despite my compliant it is a good story. The Arrow episode (Part 2 of 3) is a bit lackluster but the overall story is enjoyable.

I stopped watching the "Arrowverse" early on but always regretted not watching the crossover episodes, without known the backstory of some of the characters this was an easy storyline to follow and I found myself watching it as a film.

I'm glad I got a region free player because I've been wanting to get these crossovers for a long time! They play very well and came earlier then expected!

Super spannende cross over met Melissa Benoist als Supergirl. De DVD werd op tijd geleverd en was goed verpakt. Om het DVD doosje zit een kartonnen cover; waardoor het er super mooi uitziet. Kwaliteit en geluid zijn uitstekend. Dat geldt ook voor de special effects. Van de 3 episodes is ook een bonus toegevoegd.

I suppose after having viewed the subsequent crossovers this one paled somewhat in comparison. What irritated me greatly was the scene where Arrow takes Super Girl aside and tells her to back out of the coming battle because she was an alien. What plot purpose did this serve for the writers would have that in the script? It made the Arrow character look like a xenophobic chump, particularly as Super Girl was fighting as an ally in a few scenes after that. So my message to the writers is not to irritate the viewer with unnecessary nonsense such as Arrow sidelining the all too powerful and indestructible Super Girl just before the battle starts.
