The ultimate works on McQueen
Arrived in brilliant condition for a used book, better than I expected. Content is fabulous, but then as a fan, frankly any book on Alexander McQueen excites me.! Judith watts writes beautifully and concisely.

The work is the key
There have been a number of books published in the period since Alexander McQueen's untimely death and they mostly focus on his lifestyle and his relationship with Isabella Blow. Judith Watt eschews the titillation of the man's personal life and, instead, focuses on his work and the impact it had and continues to have on the world of fashion. Charting his career, collection by collection, she has written a book which should stand the test of time. A fantastic purchase for anyone who is interested in fashion rather than trying to get another piece of gossip.

Dreams are made of this
What an excellent book. If your an Alexander McQueen fan then this should do the trick. Full of beautiful photography with a clear focus on the work rather than Alexanders life.I particularly like the chronology of the collections and how these designs have impacted upon the world in general. Students of fashion would find his a useful tome for their studies.

The Driest Book I Have Read To Date
The book starts off quite well and the visuals are of a very good quality. As I read on it suddenly came in to my mind that the two women writing actually know McQueen. Daphne Guiness and Judith Watt made NO personal note about McQueen or his works. It was just all referencing. That said was the reason I gave it 3/5 stars because I felt there was no personal attachment, it was all just words.4/5 Visuals2/5 WritingOverall 3/5

Amazing - essential reading.
This book is highly recommended for anyone with an interest n the work of the late Alexander McQueen and modern British fashion designers. McQueen left an amazing legacy and this book provides a remarkable insight into his life and times.

Excellent
Excellent book. Although this book is EXACTLY the same as her other book titled Alexander McQueen Fashion Visionary, just a different cover and title. I obviously bought both not realising.

Brief but intetesting
An interesting book. It's more a history of his shows rather than a history of his life though. It was much shorter than I expected!

I bought this for a female relation - I sneaked a peek through it and its a great insight into a world I knew nothing about - and my sister loved it too!
