As other reviewers have said, this is GREAT once you have mastered it. But it does take some time to do that, and expect your arms to ache. I put my (long) hair in a ponytail first, then you need to flex the metal such that it stays straight. Be VERY careful as you roll the hair, as it will almost certainly try and 'ping' shut before you reach your head, which is beyond frustrating. Once you're aware it's going to do that, you get the knack of holding/flexing it while you roll to try and avoid it happening. The results are worth it - very tight, neat bun. I have had zero success with other bun making tools (donuts etc), this is the only one that stays put so, for me, it's great!

I absolutely love this. It only took me 2 attempts to get the hang of it thanks to the helpful video the seller sent me with instructions of how to use it. I have quite long thick hair so a normal bun tends to come loose very quickly - especially at the gym. With the magic bun maker my hair stays secure and it looks like a perfect bun all day! I am so impressed. You can't see the bun maker in your hair once you have pulled your hair round it and it is really easy to take back out. It has a very satisfying snapping action which literally does just magically create a bun once you have rolled it up your hair. Also, if you use it on damp hair I found it creates really nice waves in your hair.

I would give 5 stars for delivery and service, however 2/3 stars for the actual product itself. This does not work to produce the lovely bun as advertised. I have just below the shoulders, long hair so you'd expect me to have no issues. The clip tends to curl in 2 different directs resulting in the hair getting completely tangled and just hanging loosely at the back of your head! I suppose you get what you pay for - £2.99 - cheap things ..

As other reviewers have stated it takes a few attempts to figure out how it works correctly! Does stay in place, although I find it quite difficult to remove without pulling my hair out! I would also recommend this is better for thick hair so that the band can be completely covered. I have long but fine hair & it takes a bit of effort to cover the band completely. Not sure how often it's going to get used.

This is an amazing little hair accessory!!! Actually makes a perfect little bun. Really pleased and I would recommend. Took a few attempts the first time I used it but once you get the knack it's supper easy and quick. Really happy with my puchase. Thank you :)

Difficult to master with out instructions but once mastered makes a nice tidy bun, thank heavens for YouTube. It works well on thick hair but if the hair is fine you would need for it to be long so you have enough turns on the tool to cover the surface. Would of liked some basic instruction with it.

This would be ideal if you have very very long hair, that is straight and thick.It really ought to say that it is not suitable unless your hair is as described above.I don't have thick hair, but it is shoulder length, but this product is useless on my hair. The donut ring is a much better bet than this if you have hair like mine.

this product is brilliant if your looking to do something different with minimal fuss, and without using a million bobby pins!! took about 5 times to get it right, once you get it, its easy!
