I love the satisfying click / clunk when you secure the tightening lever. this product just oozes quality. it's not cheap but it's rock solid on the back of your car and will not budge an inch no matter what bumps you go over. I am using it on a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. initially I thought it didn't fit, which caused much consternation as we were departing for France the following morning. after a bit of sweating, i eventually figured out that you can fine tune the length of the bars by screwing them in or out so you get a perfect fit. phew ! panic over.

Despite having checked online that this item fits Kia Sportage newer than 2022, it does not fit the Kia Sportage GT-Line. I blame more the Kia manufactures for the design, nevertheless I have to return an item that looks well done.

Yes you can mount kids bikes on it (14 and 16 inch wheeled models from Vitus and Early Rider in our case) but you will need to remove the rear wheel and store elsewhere. I found assembly straight-forward and there are YouTube videos but being a male I tried to mount it to the car myself - mistake. You will need two people certainly for the initial setup, though I have been able to remove it myself, I’d recommend two for mounting and removal if you value your vehicle paintwork. The rubber strapping is fantastic and holds the bikes firmly in place. The carrier is rock solid at motorway and ‘flip I don’t want to miss the ferry’ pace. Build quality is what you’d expect of Thule, namely great. I anticipate years of use as my children’s bikes grow in size. Oh and the vehicle is a 2012 VW Sharan.

Disappointed as did not fit 15 plate Zafira. It has costed me a fortunate to return this rack (Only 1/4th of postal cost is refunded). The rack itself is very good quality.

Delivered in 24 hours from the time of ordering, handed to me Sunday evening. I'd watched the You Tube videos first to see how it assembles. It is quite straight forward, took about 30 minutes. Great product and feels really sturdy on my Freelander 2. I unbolt the rear wiper to save any collisions with the bike rack, but that takes seconds to remove.

Not as easy to assemble as they make it sound. I'm fairly practical but still found it tricky to assemble. If you are inexperienced I would recommend getting someone to assemble the carrier for you, particularly as you will be loading with expensive bikes and going on the open road! I would not want to be responsible for an accident!

Quite easy to put it together out of the box following the instructions exactly ... bit short on advice for fitting to the car e.g. the bottom brackets extend - unfortunately the left hand one didn't extend quite far enough so that when closing the levers the left hand bottom bracket, which fits around the bottom of the back door, bent the bodywork - not a lot but enough to notice! ... and yes, I did get the right model for the car ... it turned out, after I took it off, that the bracket just didn't extend as far as the other one so poor quality workmanship you'd have to assume. Apart from that little annoyance - a well made and good looking piece of kit which holds the bikes very well, although I only use it for 2 bikes - it's possible if 3 were fitted that they'd damage each other ... over all - reasonably happy with this (very expensive) purchase.

Installed this on a Nissan Qashquai. Not the easiest assembly / instructions but nothing patience and referring to images / manual won’t sort. Again not easy fitting to car but i did all this myself, Thule suggest two people fit the carrier to the car but one person can clearly manage. Another stage of adjustment is required when its on the car but if its for one vehicle only you’ll only need to set that once. Contrary to some reviews I found there is a lot of adjustment on both strap arms and boot bottom grab arms. And finally … as I’m saying .. very very solid feel once its locked on. Impressive bit of kit/engineering.

Ich habe diesen Fahrradständer seit kurzer Zeit, jedoch schon ein paar Mal benutzt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die Montage geht schnell und unkompliziert auf für mich als Frau. Der Fahrradhalter ist robust und gut verarbeitet. Obwohl er für drei Fahrräder vorgesehen ist, wird es eng für ein drittes Bike. Bei der Fahrt machte alles einen recht soliden Eindruck und auch auf holprigen Strecken war kein wackeln der Fahrräder zu erkennen. Ich vergebe 5 Punkte von 5, weil dieses Produkt für sein Geld absolut gerechtfertigt ist. Ich würde mir diesen wieder kaufen und kann ich den Träger gut weiterempfehlen!

Arrivato nei tempi previsti. Si assembla facilmente. Per montarlo sull'auto servono 2 persone ma è semplicissimo. Smontarlo dall'auto ancora più facile, ľ ho fatto da sola. È per 3 bici ma ho testato con 2 bici da adulto. I ganci tengono saldamente le bici e in più c è un nastrino per non farle dondolare. Quando non è montato sull auto si può chiuderlo semplicemente con un scatto delle rotelle laterali. In una decina di giorni ľ ho già messo e tolto 3 volte e fatto 260 km in autostrada senza problemi. Unica cosa, ma non dipende dal prodotto, con le bici montate i sensori di parcheggio suonano, magari le prime volte ci si può far aiutare da qualcuno per fare manovra, giusto per prenderci l'occhio.

Me habían dicho que hacían ruido y que vibraban y... pero nada de nada. por lo menos este modelo. es super sencillo de poner. hemos llevado 3 bicis grandes en 800 km y sin problema. un acierto!!!

Très pratique. Effectivement les accroches haut et bas ne sont pas protégés, donc pour éviter d'abîmer la carrosserie, il faut ruser. Nous avons simplement mis du scotch gris de bricolage autour des ces accroches... La voiture (Nissan Juke) n'a jamais été abimé, et pourtant il sert plusieurs fois par semaine. Nous logeons 3 VTT adultes sans problèmes. Je recommande.
