TP-2: Economic Thermal Pad

Great heat dissapation on memory chips in a graphics card, does the job very well also use it for DVD players and home systems keep those chips cool an keep it's long life , always reliable and very easy to use just fit cut drop , done. Enjoy

Quite expensive. But they are premium quality. Be careful what size you order. Mine was smaller than expected, and used it up more quickly than expected too. Temps, very good. Pair this with Noctua fans, a decent fan controller, and you're winning.

Needed to add a heat shield to something and rather than buy a little piece this is a sheet about 1/2 the size of A4 paper at 0.5mm thick and comes flat in a poly bag delivered via postman in a Jiffy Bag ! My only criticism is that I would have liked it to have a slightly better adhesive quality as it's a pain holding it to a vertical plate as gravity rules and it will slip down . . . Can I use double sided tape . . . or glue or anything . . . couldn't find any comments and I don't know what it will do to the heat transference qualities . . . IN place now and I hope I don't have to access it again !

I have given 3 stars for thickness because at 0.5mm you would have to stack them for most applications. I ended up buying 1.5mm although the price is quite high...otherwise, good pads

i have an Sapphire HD6990 and i wanted to open it up and take care of it. I used this for the vram modules and i cut it into appropriate pieces and it came a lot cheaper and definitely reduced the temps of my graphics card

Depending on your needs, these pads can be more effective than thermal paste. Easy to apply, they really do the job without the mess that thermal paste leaves in case you need to remove the heatsink.

Needed this urgently for a watercooling project, was shocked at the price of this stuff but is fine and does its job. People selling this are making a HUGE markup on their buying price!!

Very good thermal conductivity, used for mosfet cooling and tested on a computer cpu with prime 95, stock paste/sudocrem hit 60'c , 0.5mm pad hit 66'c, 1mm pad hit 72'c. very soft and "sticky"

Habe damit eine ältere Mobil Workstation ausgestattet. CPU + GPU sowie acht Speichermodule auf der Grafikkarte werden jetzt mit dem Pad gekühlt. Zuschneiden funktioniert mit einem Skalpell ordentlich. Am Besten geht es, wenn man mit einer Rasierklinge drückt. Schneiden hat bei mir nicht so gut funktioniert. Das Pad hat allerdings keine klebenden Eigenschaften, hier muss also sorgsam gearbeitet werden. Die IDLE Temperaturen der CPU gingen um ca. 8° runter. Vorher war hier noch die alte Werkspaste drauf. Mir ging es um die saubere und schnelle Verarbeitung und die ist mit diesem Pad gegeben. Nach der Aktion ist immer noch genug Material vorhanden, um das Prozedere noch zwei mal zu wiederholen.

Ho acquistato questo pad termico per sostituire quelli originali della mia 3070 che erano pressoché inutili. Dopo averli montati e sostituita la pasta termica le temperature sono scese da 85 gradi in full load a 68! Super soddisfatto! ottima qualità del prodotto!

After repairing the CPU and GPU with the Noctua thermal compound, realised the small memory modules and other chips coming in contact with the heat sink are not covered with a thermal paste or pads. Applied the Arctic thermal pads on all the modules and the heat inside has considerable reduced and it runs a lot cooler. Laptop is a ASUS ROG GL502VS.
