Hoover Whirlwind Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner, SE71WR01, Lightweight, Compact - Grey/Red [Energy Class A]

Did a lot of research before settling for this little hoover. Really like it. It’s compact but has great suction and gets everywhere clean. The extra attachments are a bit clunky and cheap looking but they do the job. Easy to manoeuvre, empty and clean. Handy on stairs as it isn’t heavy. Very happy with the price. It’s a great hoover and didn’t cost the earth.

Decided to get this after reading it's reviews. My Bissell bagless cylinder vacuum started to fall to bits.Fast delivery (even to N Ireland).Good points* very powerful little Hoover. On paper it might not appear to be as powerful as others but I can assure you it is.* easy to empty the dust/dirt compartment.* washable filter 👍* small, light and very easy to move around.* I don't find it to be overly noises.* a good looking wee hooverThe only slight bad point that I can think of when using on a vinyl/lino floor it can lift it in areas that the floor is not securely stuck down.Over all, highly recommended vacuum. Why spend 2 times, 3 times or more on a vacuum when you can get this for under £50????? Stop looking at others and just get it.

Half price purchase !!! Fab little Hoover BUT ... The head sticks and doesn't want to stay in use on carpets !! Great on hard floors ( A rated for hard floors, D on carpet ) Loses power very quickly if the filter gets dirty and it will clog up fast on a dirty house ( not mine btw ) The hose has NO give or capacity to extend... Other than this it has FABULOUS suction ( as good as my Dyson upright ) is very light and handy for cleaning hard floor homes !! ( I've read the reviews and i'll see how it does over the year warranty )

I'd always wanted a Dyson however couldn't afford the price tag that comes with them so I opted for this one I saw on Amazon as it had many positive reviews left by previous buyers. Despite the reviews I still wasn't sure what to expect with this hoover as often, the less you pay the less suction they offer!That couldn't be further from the truth with this one and I was thoroughly impressed when I first used it. It's got great suction and works incredibly well on hard floors which precious hoovers of mine have not. It's got multiple attachments for different areas and even has a carpeted/hard floor switch on the main hoover head. The hoover is also really lightweight so it's great for moving around from room to room. The addition of the cord tidy is great and it fits perfectly in our small storage cupboard.I've since used this on multiple occasions and it continues to impress. I'd recommend this hoover to anyone.

As a hoover, and considering the price, it performs well. But it is a cheaply made product. The power is good and it does a good job cleaning. But the pole is too short. I am 5'8 (178cm) so not that tall but it is low for me. Also, the handle attaches to the pole just by pushing it in, so it is prone to coming out while using, which is really annoying - but if you push it in firmly it doesn't happen that often. There is no place to store the furniture attachment on the body of the vacuum cleaner so you need to store this separately. but for the price it is not bad, and gets the job done.

I do not want a hoover that hangs on a wall, yes this has a cord but it is a good hoover.

After 2 years of extremely light use, my cylinder filter became completely stuck, eventually snapping off. Hoover customer care ( 03444 995599 ) could offer no replacement parts, admitted that these parts break quite often, and told me to look for second hand aftermarket parts. Essentially them getting away with producing an inferior product.There are small thumb tabs to help rotate the cylinder filter out,clearly marked "lock/unlock" anticlockwise/clockwise. I've done this before with no problem, read over the manual and checked youtube. But today it wasn't budging.Eventually something gave and all 3 clips broke clean off - leaving me with a broken chamber and filter, a house full of the finest dust I can imagine and no hoover to solve it.( Headache from all the dust too, it's pretty gross)Customer service was lovely, but admitting there's an issue and not stocking the parts... I wish I could file a class action suit.Note:Bear in mind the case is transparent plastic, you can see the 3 clips that slide into the cylinder's grooves and how they *should* move. You're not operating blind with this.

I wasn't too sure about this hoover, the reviews seemed okay, with a few complaining about lack of suction power. However this was the money I was prepared to spend, so I just went for it, and I'm really glad I did.The suction power is just awesome. With my old model I had to use my shoes to drag the dog and cat hair into a ball before hoovering it up off the carpet. This baby just rips the fur right of the carpet, so much so that it clogged up the cylinder really quickly.I got a moment of buyer's regret as I had to empty it before I even finished hoovering, however since then I have not had to do that, and realised that my living room was particularly dirty for that first clean!Haven't cleaned the filters yet, so I'm hoping it's as simple as my last model. All round, I'm happy, I thought it was a bit small at first, but it's fine, and now it fits much more neatly in the airing cupboard.Would definitely recommend.
