Singer 4.5-Inch Professional Series Detail Scissors

Singer is a make that you can trust, and I go back to the old handle sewing machines! These scissors are fantastic! I have tried so many supposed "good" makes and these have proved to be the best. They are very well made, go to a sharp point, are a good weight and open & close well. (Being a hairdresser, I know the importance and "sound" of an excellent pair of scissors). There's a nylon cord that all other scissors won't cut properly, but these cut beautifully and cleanly. I definitely recommend them!

Gave these to my wife at Christmas. She took up knitting again last year and needed decent scissors. These are superb she says. I discovered how sharp they are when I borrowed them for some illicit use (in her opinion!) and cut myself in a moment of carelessness!

Excellent set of scissors. I use them for cutting out small items for applique, and they do this with ease. Comfortable grip, which for me is important as it takes ages to cut out said small items!

The scissors arrived with one of the points broken off, therefore I cannot cut to the end of the blades. I also found them to be quite flimsy (bendy) when in use.
