Great quality and very sturdy. Very helpful in shower.

The grab bar is good looking and feels sturdy. The ring that you screw through could be a little thicker and flat as it mounts to the surface, there is flex as you screw it down. However the worst part of this product is the very low quality screws they include for mounting. I drilled 1/8 inch holes as the instructions indicate, used high quality milwaukee phillips tips to screw them in, and all of the ones I tried the screw head stripped. I have been doing construction projects for more than 50 years of my 70 year life. I know how to use wood screws. These are garbage. Fortunately, I have a collection of left over screws in my basement gathered over the years that I used instead to complete the job without a Home Depot run. I am very disappointed that such poor screws were included in an otherwise pretty good product.

This my second Moen grab bar I've bought and installed. It's solid and well designed. I love the textured grip for additional safety. It comes with sturdy screws and arrived quickly.

The size

I made a mistake in ordering these. I thought they were 1 1/2” but they are 1 1/4”. But they work well.

We bought a bunch of the Home Care Safety Textured Grip Stainless Steel Bathroom Grab Bar, Peened, of various lengths, to replace the insecure towel bars and to use as grab bars for the bath tubs. This product meets our expectations in sturdiness, functionality and appearance. Nowadays the studs are 16 inches apart, but ironically our local supplier doesn't provide grab bars of this length. We are happy to have found this item online.

Add 3 inches to the stated measurements. I'm glad I ordered a shorter one because the 18" wouldn't have fit. The extra 3 inches is for the covers at each end. only the actual bar is included in their measurements. was not that easy to install. The mounting brackets at each end are good in one way because they have a lot of holes to get exactly the placement you need. But the brackets themselves were both distorted and did not lay flat. when I did get it installed, which was a hassle, and then put the covers over the brackets.... It was OK because it doesn't show. I'm not crazy about the actual radius of the bar and would have preferred something thinner. but it is done and is sturdy.

Sturdy and strong once fixes on a wall stud with other longer screws than the ones included...

I mounted this vertically, about elbow height, above the edge of the bathtub, on a stud. When she used it, stepping in and out of the tub, my wife commented that it made her feel very secure, especially because of the textured surface. She thinks it looks very functional, but attractive, as do I. The diameter seems right for our fairly small hands. We also have a 32-in. one, installed horizontally above the side of the tub. It’s on studs, too, and I can stand on it. Not sure yet how helpful it will be, but it looks fine. I think these are excellent products for the purpose.

Bit pricey but good quality. Very solid. Can not put a price on safety

Good and sturdy, It is moen but a bit cheaper than in person stores.

Got 3 for my senior parents for each bathroom. They love it. It came with all the screws and was easy to install.
