No. There are no ears or screw holes for rack mount ears. We install these on a 1U shelf which works nicely

Hello, can this router load balance with pppoe plus two 4g connections? would it work on uk networks? thanks!

Hi Thomas,To give an answer to your question is it is possible to set up 2x 4G connections on this Balance 30 LTE, it is possible. You will have to use a 4G Dongle (USB WAN) and the gedundant SIM module in order to get 2x 4G connections. The PPPOE will be used for setting up a VPN I am assuming. Setting up VPN with IPSEC is supported when the other device than the Peplink is a Cisco or an Junipar, the rest of the brands are not supported. There is a chance the IPSEC VPN tunnel can work with other devices, it just isn't garanteed by Peplink. The PepVPN feature is by far the best way to set up an VPN between 2 Peplink devices. There is very little need for network knowledge to set this up. It is easy and stable, the only disadvantage is, it only works between Peplink devices. What do you excacly mean with the question if the Balance 30 LTE will work in UK networks? As far as my knowledge goes, UK networks are the same as other networks, or am I missing something?We do have customers in the UK, they also are using the Balance 30 LTE, so I am assuming this would not be any problem.

can i use the 2 sim cards simultaneously?

Dear SA,No, it isn’t possible to use 2 SIM cards at the same time. The LTE module is equiped with slot A and slot B for redundancy. One module can be active at the same time, the other SIM slot will function als a failover. When one of the SIMs disconnects/fails to have internet connection, the Balance will automatically switch to the other SIM module if not configured otherwise.It does not matter if you chose to configure slot A or B as your primairty active SIM, the other module will automatically function as failover.I hope this answers your question, let me know when you want more information.Have a nice weekend!
