Q: Can anyone tell me the exact measurement from the edge of the paper this can make a hole? Many thanks

Hi! I just checked-it's 26mm from the edge of the paper to the start of the hole, approx 28mm to the hole centre from the edge. Hope that helps :)

Hi I just tested it on a flattened milk carton so going through 2 bits and it worked fine. Gave a nice satisfying clunk without too much effort. Not sure if this helps.

I have never tried them on foil but it is a great hole punch and as long as the foil is not to thick i don't see why it would not work.
