Sure you can use it on a thumb without it being noticed. It leaves a nice matt finish and indeed I tend to use it on all nails as I think it improves the look of the nails. Go on, give it a try!

Hello The Mavala Ridge Filler is worth its weight in gold, as one matures late 40'a + one notices the ridges in one's nails, I use Ridge Filler all the time, and it really does help, put it on clean nails with no nail varnish let it dry then add your nail varnish, you may wish to use clear nail varnish if you can't wear color nail varnish due to work, etc.I honestly say it's fantastic is Mavala Ridge Filler..

1) "horizontal"? You mean "vertical", I guess - for I have the same problem as you. However, the product helps to smooth a little the nails' surface, it does not last much. Just a little help, not a miracle maker - it helps, though. 2) Yes, it is. Sorry for my awful Italian's English

Q: how is it applied and how often

It is applied before you put on your nail varnish. I usually apply two coats.
