I am a complete beginner who has never used weights before. I didn't have a clue what to go for and asked my family and friends for some advice. Many recommended me that I go with weight plates instead of buying the colourful set weights I have seen many use: I am so glad I did. These are much more cost-efficient and was surprised on how small the package was when they were delivered. The delivery was also super quick! I wasn't due to have these at my doorstep until 16th May, but it is now 10th May and I have had them for a few days.These are so easy to use, considering I am a complete beginner, it was obvious straight out of the package. Putting the weights on the bar and screwing them on was much easier than I had originally thought it would be. I am very happy with my purchase!Many of the other weight plates I was browsing around online didn't include a bar/ was sold separately -- a lot of them overpriced; bars being £30 or more! With this package, you get a lot of weights, 2 dumbbell bars and 1 bar that can be used to extend both the bars (I haven't used this yet as I don't need it) all for £55. So worth it!For those interested, I am using the weights to get some booty definition/leg work, some arm muscle and other exercises for my core! All's I can say is these are great, look sturdy and do what I need them to do!

I really like the ability to change the weights which makes them perfect for a home gym. Good value for money vs buying separate weights. There is no storage box to keep tidy and the screws can come loose up can be easily tightened, weights all very sturdy. There was a slight smell on the metal parts but that’s disappeared after a few uses.

TBH I'm not a weight training guru so can't claim to have a lot to compare with, but as a beginner I'm very pleased with these. Don't use the barbell setup, but as dumbbells they are great - good grip, fairly simple to change the weights, and were good value.I should mention that the bars are reasonably long - have to be careful not to catch them on each other (e.g. if lifting above head and they get near each other). My wife has fixed weight ones covered in rubber - they are smaller and don't suffer this issue, but obviously she can't change the weight. Pros and Cons. Still, happy with mine.

The grip etching is too pronounced making them uncomfortable in the hand. The collars need to be continually tightened as they work loose very quickly. Overall the quality is good but there are better options from more established brands. I wouldn't buy again.

There is nothing to not like about these Dumbbells. These are an excellent value for money. Excellent handle grip and safety screws are the best I have seen. Priced very reasonable and are the real deal.Although the extension bar in the middle is not my favourite but absolutely fantastic overall. Great experience

Received Dumbbells on time but very quickly I noticed small flakes of chrome and then larger sections until I started getting cutI got cut by one piece that I had to dig out but the worst thing was when I was laid down doing some chest weights a flake fell in my eye causing 2 days of irritation despite removing it safely.I contacted suppliers who agreed to return and refund completely disinterested in my problems cuts and irritation.I've contacted them so they can check production so it doesn't happen to anyone else.I have had several attempts to ask for compensation I'm even prepared to keep the Dumbbells so I can file sand and make safe as what's the point in an exchange from a supplier that doesn't care if there products cause injury.Initially my thoughts were what if there was a child there cuts would be more troublesome what if a child got a flake of chrome in there eye and they panicked and started rubbing.I'm completely dissatisfied with this sellers arrogant dismissive response
