Great deck for someone like me who got back into recently after many years. Explains new rules and the strategy behind the decks very well. Online codes let you play them through the pc game and app which is really fun.Has everything you need to play and a lot of rare and competitive cards. All very playable but counts as expanded rather than standard. Aside from the holos cards like Karen and vs seeker really add to the value. Highly recommended!

This is a great deck for any one who wants to start playing with friends. There's some great cards in this deck.

This has been a great introduction to the Pokémon card game for my daughter and I. It has everything you need to get started, including two pre-constructed decks, a coin each, health counters and a pretty comprehensive instruction sheet. She's taken to it pretty easily. I restricted the decks to 'pokemon only' for the first few games and gradually added some of the effects cards in subsequent games. The maths involved is pretty simple, and with a bit of encouragement she's building confidence in that aspect. If you're still unsure, there's a free app that will teach you the basics easily enough (not to mention a ton of youtube vids). She's pestering me to play the game with her (in preference to watching TV), so mission accomplished in that respect.

Good pack but read the asked questions first! No where in the actual information supplied by the seller, does it tell you most of the cards are either only for this game or doubled up Pokémon cards.

Bought this product on discount at roughly £15. Comes with pretty competive cards and is great for new players on a budget.

I had one of these and I really enjoyed it playing it with my friends. In it was a paper arena, 2 decks also it has duplicate cards of the ones at the front in the deck. And also for the front cards you can collect 2 and the other 2 are in the decks.

This was a present for an eleven year old boy, he loved them, best present ever. Can't get a better review than that.

Glad to get this as part of a discount deal (£9.95). Crazy price for what's actually inside the oversized box but son spent his birthday money on it was very excited! I'm under no illusion re. the premium RRPs for Pokemon products - a shame for a brand that's appeal is aimed at children as well as adults.As a parent, not made of money, my recommendation is to check Ebay and other retailers (chaos cards) before just diving in with an Amazon purchase on these sets. With this back at Amazon's full price at the time of writing, I know you can find it cheaper elsewhere. If delivery is key and cost is not an issue, any Pokemon fan will enjoy this deck.
