fantastic value
This is a lovely tank which was fantastic value for money, it was bought as Xmas gift for my daughter and she loves it. It looks very smart on its stand (bought separately) and it Comes with everything you need for either fresh water or tropical fish, Very easy to set up even for a novice like myself, the filter I was told by the experts was of very good quality and that with most of these starter set up you usually need to buy a extra filter and they usually are of poor quality which was not the case here the heater was also of good quality. It also cam with tap safe and filter start, lights, filter, heater, thermometer and plants which was fantastic, the tank is not only great quality but nice to look at no sharp corners modern nice rounded edges and It look wonderful now it's all set up with her tropical fish and decorated ! With the advice from the experts with the help of the filter start etc she was able to put her first fish in with in a couple of weeks and her next lot a month later once the chemical levels had stabilisedThis tank was great value for money and I do recommend it to everyone including novices like myself as it does come with everything you need and great fool proof instructions but always get advice from the experts and get them to test the water before putting fish in if you are desperately wanting fish straight away it's also great for cold water fish too

Perfect tank for me
I purchased the 120 litre tank to brighten a dull spot in my lounge - and I am delighted to report that the room is now brighter and better .The tank arrived safely and was well packaged . I then started to add the decor and live plants and filled with water , adding the filter starter and tap safe that came with the tank , and finally added the filter unit and heater with ease . I ran the tank for nearly two weeks before adding any fish and the plants thrived and the water remained crystal clear and stayed at a constant temperature - one little niggle is that the supplied thermometer is not easy to read and I replaced it with a more suitable one .The day finally arrived to add some fish and I am delighted to say that they settled in very quickly with no problems . I closely monitored the water quality and it remained within safe parameters throughout the next ten days until I added the final batch of fish . Again , I encountered no problems with water quality .The tank is now fully stocked and looks great - with the plants and fish continuing to thrive . It is now a wonderful focal point and has drawn appreciative comments from visitors .I have no hesitation in recommending this tank - it is a great buy .

Excellent starter tank for those new to keeping fish - recommended.
A stylish replacement for an elderly 50ltr tank, this Interpret 65ltr tank arrived well packaged. Box also contains a number of items to get you started (heater, filter, tank start, water treatment and thermometer) however I haven't used any of them so can't comment on their performance - there are other reviews here that do this however.First impression was that the tank is very light, much lighter than my old one. It appears to be well made though the lack of a drip tray at the back of the lid may be an issue. The lid doesn't have any catches to keep it open, instead it opens right up - for me, as I don't have sufficient room to open the lid fully, this is a problem. This variant comes with "old school" edison screw-in bulbs (both white) as opposed to more up to date LED ones. I'd originally thought I was getting the LED lights so this was a disappointment. That said, I will be purchasing replacement LED screw-in bulbs so it's not a significant problem.Setting up the tank was easy - there is plenty room to pass the AC plugs through the gap in the lid thus installing filter, heater etc was easy. I paired the tank with the appropriate Interpret stand and both look good together. As a relative newcomer to the hobby of tropical fish, this is an excellent starter kit for those wanting to get into keeping fish - subject to some concern around the filter / heater received as highlighted by other reviews.

Nice little fish tank
I decided to buy fish for the corner between my pc desks. It sits nicely, just a little bit larger than an old 14" portable tv. Comes with a couple of things, one to neutralise chlorine and heavy metals, and another to help boost bacterial colonies. I don't know which bacteria this helps to grow but the mains ones you want are nitrosomonas and nitrobacter. You will also want some test kits which you can get for a few quid separate. The heater and filter both run fine and the lights are both good and thermometer reads accurate. It has curved glass which is why I really bought it and looks really nice, the lid is also neat looking, it just has that premium look.*Edit. I had a problem with one of the suction cups for the filter being deformed. I contacted them through their 'contact-us' submit ticket page but I didn't get a response. I emailed them directly and have had a response saying their site was experiencing difficulties and they are sending out replacements free of charge.

it doesn't leak
I have had this tank for 4 months now. Within a day, I changed the bulbs provided for ones which are a lot stronger, the heater was turned down to the lowest which was about 21 but it went back up to 26 on it's own so I turned it down again and it was 26 within a week, I have taken it out and I leave the tank at room temperature, which seems ok for Cherry Shrimp (20oC 'ish). A few days ago I changed the filter to a double sponge run off a powerhead. So in all, I have only got the tank and hood left from the original package, the hood is a pita because when you raise it (hinged) to change something, you can't see in the tank. The feeding door is a good idea but sadly too close to the tank edging so inevitably food ends up on the lip and goes mouldy. Next time, I will just buy the tank seperate from the bits I need.
