JB's TREK High Protein Flapjack Cocoa Oat

I wasn’t expecting to love these as much as I do, but wow—these flapjacks are really good. I grabbed them mostly because I wanted a gluten-free, vegan snack with decent protein for on-the-go or post-gym, and the lemon flavor caught my eye. The texture is soft and chewy (in a good way), and the lemon isn’t too overpowering—just a nice zesty, fresh flavor that doesn’t taste artificial. It actually reminds me of those lemon drizzle cakes, but way healthier. And surprisingly filling for a 50g bar. They’re great with a cup of tea or just to throw in a bag for when you’re running errands or need something quick between meals. I’ve also been giving them to my brother who’s super picky, and even he asked where I got them from. Will definitely be reordering once this box runs out. If you're looking for a plant-based snack that doesn’t taste like cardboard, this is it.

I received a box of these as a present, and quickly ate the lot, and reordered more. I love flapjack and I love Biscoff, so flavour-wise these are the perfect storm. The texture and consistency are great, the flavour is amazing too. There's 9g of protein per bar, and they're a joy to eat. For a convenient snack, these are amazing. I'd take one over a chocolate bar any time. That said, I usually get Warrior bars here at about the same price and calories, but double the protein. If only those came in Biscoff...

I should be honest here and admit that all I was really hoping for was a healthy-ish snack that doesn’t taste like cardboard or cause digestive issues. So far, these are delicious and haven’t caused any stomach problems or anything. I think they’re really good value for money too. I know that there are snacks with higher protein content and things like that but if, like me, you just want a decent quality snack that makes you feel full for a little while in between meals then this’ll do the trick.

Tastes nice but a little dry, Coconut chocolate is my favourite.

TREK bars are one of my favourite snacks. I get them regularly, and this multipack is an ideal way to purchase them at bulk for a reasonable price. I love the mix of flavours - all 4 included here are lovely, my favourite being the white choc & raspberry. These are sweet without being overly sugary which is ideal. The crunchy texture is great for me, I love it. I'm vegan so these are perfect for me, and that they are also gluten free makes them very accessible for lots of people with dietary needs. I'm a big fan of oat based foods as oats are very healthy and contain a great balance of carbs, protein and fibre. These bars provide you with a great energy boost, and the protein and fibre make these great for active people. The best before on the box I got was 8 months from date of purchase, which is plenty of time to go through these. I love these so much they probably won't last a week!
