aLLreli Digital Voice Recorder CP00341 [2-in-1] 8GB USB Memory Stick

I have purchased two allreli recorders. They come well packaged, with an instruction leaflet and are easy to use.On receipt of the recorder, plug it into a USB port on a laptop for an hour or so and it will be fully charged.Ensure the recorder is switched to OFF before charging. A red light will come on to show the recorder is charging and the light will turn blue when fully charged.Recording couldn't be easier, simply switch the button to ON. The red light will flash for a couple of seconds then it goes off.The quality of recording is pretty good but it will pick up background noise too.To listen to your recordings, make sure the recorder is switched to OFF and then you simply plug it into the USB port in your laptop.I use windows 7 and listen to the recordings on windows media player.The recorder looks exactly like a normal memory stick and is very unobtrusive, so whether you want to record lectures, meetings, doctor's appointments or require it for covert purposes, this recorder fits the bill.

This has been a reliable piece of kit and is easy to use. Very discreet, easy to wrap some tape around it and make it even more covert (just remember to leave the mic. hole exposed). With regard to sound quality, I wish there was some way to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone because it is very sensitive. It's good for picking up distant vocals and doesn't pickup too much atmospheric noise, however, if vocals come too close it distorts. I've been trying to play around with using some material over the mic hole to try and surpress the sensitivity.Ultimately, this is best used for picking up audio at about 3m+.

Brilliant piece of equipment. As a non technical person I found this so easy to use and the sound quality is very very good - to my ear any way. The communication with Cheerivo has also been first class. Thank you to you all.The stick is very easy to use, and the recording of a very good quality. The people who used the recording I made a re blind so they listen very carefull to the quality of the words - and it they who also said how professional the sound quality was on the recording. Love the extra touch of the little attachment to carry the stick and the fact that the box has a seperate little compartment just for the attachment - shows quality and care.

This item was great except for being voice activated, which wasn't good for my purposes, I need to be able to time and evaluate silences and they were non existent!Great product if you DONT want to record any silence!

This was bought to replace an old, similar style recorder that got lost, and then a replacement one that was unfit for purpose. With this one I've found exactly what I need: simple to operate and discrete to use. As a lay-preacher I record my own sermons so that I can self-check them afterwards. (I can discover my short-comings in private!) This is small enough to sit on a church lectern or pulpit top without being visible to all. The quality of recorded sound is clear and loud enough. My first attempt to replace my lost recorder came from a different manufacturer and left me with frequent skips in the recording and sudden loud intrusive noises. This one seems perfect. I recommend it.

I bought an allreli listening device (dev#1) on Amazon in April 2022 (memory 16GB). I was extremely satisfied with this device. It can record sounds not audible to the human ear but yet during playbackthose sounds are reproduced seemingly by magic in great detail. Recordings had 'body'. Whatever sound it heard was captured, in 'HD' - just like with an HD photograph. In December 2022 I bought (again fromAmazon) what appears to be the same device (an allreli listening device but with a memory of 8GB - I will call this dev#2). I assumed this particular advice would perform just as well. Alas it did not. Nowhere near.In fact dev#2 was significantly inferior as regards its recording capability compared with dev#1. Dev#2 lacked body. Likening its recording output to a photograph, it was grainy. Certain details (most of them) were not defined. Might it have been a problem with the software, I thought? No, I formatted dev#2 and put the software on dev#1 onto it. No difference at all. It could be the quality of the microphone possibly.All I wanted was a device to backup dev#1, preferably with a larger memory and longer battery time. Amazon appeared not to have the allreli device with the specific 16GB memory. At least a search on Amazon did not reveal one. Finally, anyone listening to a recording from dev#2 (having not heard and appreciated one from dev#1) might be satisfied with what they hear. I who have heard both remain very disappointed.
