Delton Pets Outdoor Cat Shelter, Cat Kennel

HAD THIS SHELTER FOR A YEAR NOW. NEEDS TO BE ELEVATED OFF THE FLOOR SO PUT BRICKS UNDERNEATH.A STRAY CAT USED IT QUITE HAPPILY FOR A YEAR. PUT TARPALIN OVER TOP LEAVING SPACE FOR ENTRY & SECURED WITH FLOWER POTS.MADE IT WARMER & MORE INSULATED AGAINST THE WEATHER.PUT THICK CARDBOARD AROUND WALLS & CEILING IN THE WINTER FOR EXTRA WARMTH & A COUPLE OF FLEECES.CAT WAS DRY , WARM , & WELL SHELTERED. ITS NO LONGER A STRAY CAT. HAD IT MICROCHIPPED, INSURED WITH HEALTH COVER BETTER THAN MY OWN & CALLED IT NEVYN & YES HE STILL USES IT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ONE CAT.

Great product! Great seller!House arrived sooner that I have expected it. I asked for some adjustments (flat roof and no stain) and they have been done for me without any additional charge.I would recommend it 100%.Now I have to teach/convince all feral cats to use the cat flap.I have put this house under existing cat house, that is why I have asked for flat roof.Would be some much better if roof and floor would be made of something that would not catch mold.

Good size, well made - only issue is roof felt leaves wood exposed at sides so I will need to re-cover it with bigger piece felt.This is a shame as otherwise it is good value for money. I will be lining it with strip of lino so more cosy, comfortable & easy to keep clean. Whether cats will choose to use it after alll this is yet to be seen!Update- 2 years later & still in use in garden!! Have it on concrete blocks to keep base drier. New design looks smaller, mine was big enough for 2 cats if necessary. My most easily scared cat happily sits inside whenever it rains! Great buy & very happy with it.

This was bought for our ageing cat Henry as we didn't want him to be caught outdoors in the cold weather. Its a reasonable size and well made. We put a blanket in it, showed it to Henry and he completely ignored it preferring the underside of the car instead. Sadly we lost him to cancer at the age of 19 a short time later but the kennel didn't go to waste. Our 13 ferrets absolutely love it and you can often find them asleep in it which is more than Henry ever did!.

PS i added two lengths of wood to act as feet and lift if off the ground and protecting the bottom of the house

The product itself is great. It was really well packaged, well delivered. My cats on the other hand, refuse to use it. Not your fault obviously which is why the rating is as high as it is. It was always going to be a bit of russian roulette however it is in the garden, begging to be used and the cats just would rather sit in the rain...

This product more than measured up. The build quality was excellent, and very good value for money.I sometimes work long hours, and worried about my cat been outdoors in the winter.He appears to have moved out,in favour of his den.

My cats a coward and won't touch it unless we are around. But without a cat flap to the house this also doubles as a fantastic step up to my window. It's a fantastic size and the fact the roof can be proped open makes it real easy to clean out
