Good product and excellent value for money. However the assembly instructions are very poor and the diagrams make them even worse due to the print size. Word of warning … make sure you engage the long threads in the main frame before securing the handles with the supplied fixing pins.

A good product which will be useful time and time again. It's sturdy and adaptable and for the DIY enthusiasts will be useful on many different occasions. . The only improvement I think is needed is the instructions which are vague and difficult to understand.

Excellent quality, and with the Black Friday deal, can’t give it anything less than 5 stars. It’s super easy to assemble. Instructions are also clear to follow.

The Workmate 301 has been a fantastic addition to my DIY setup. It’s incredibly versatile — I’ve used it as a sawhorse, a clamping bench, and a sturdy platform for cutting and assembly. Does an adequate job for light DIY/small projects. Very good price and speedy delivery. My main gripe is the assembly instructions were atrocious. Small, poor-quality illustrations. Assembly steps not very detailed. Correct parts hard to identify and some of the parts, particularly the pins holding the handles onto the shafts, impossible to fit. I got one in place after a LOT of hammering and had to replace the other with a screw. It is however easy to operate and store and providing you don't expect too much of it? should be fine for most day to day light DIY etc.

As this is a pretty small foldable workbench I thought it would come assembled but folded up. It did not and after the first couple of reasonable assembly steps I got to the stage where I had to attach a handle to a long screw part in situ using a small metal dowel. While in situ I found it impossible to strike the dowel hard enough to get into the hole. So I took it out and banged the dowel in on a flat surface figuring I would slide the pole in through the hole on the other side and then screw the grey plastic stabiliser back on. But the thread of the screw part was now too wide to go through that hole and I was softlocked. I tried everything I could to get the metal dowel back out but, obviously it was stuck fast. I think I could have secured the handle adequately with the right screw but that's going off book. I don't know what the "correct" solution is. Maybe if I had a workbench to assist me in building the workbench... Dumb, stupid product. No idea how anyone can build this following the instructions but clearly others have.

I can't believe I have been using tables, chairs, wood blocks, stones, etc. during all my projects in and outside of the house all those years. This workmate replaces all of them, is strong and sturdy, and can easily be stored aside. Top!

Awesome product and good value for money. I was not sure if this would be useful for DIY projects. But now that I’m using it I wish it was purchased long back. There are just so many ways this workbench makes life easier- the vise, the stoppers, the ideal height. I would definitely recommend it.
