The best chopping board. Solid piece of the most beautiful wood. Extremely sturdy. So easy to keep clean. The height makes removing contents from the board so much easier than a flat board. Oiling it occasionally keeps it looking beautiful. Love it.

LOW THREE STAR rating due to the fact, the board that I received, certainly does not LOOK LIKE THE WALNUT picture, wood very light, more like the OAK, possibly it is. NO MARKINGs ON BOX TO SAY WHAT IT WAS.So I have no idea as to what wood this is made from.Don't think this was seasoned with oil either, as to the way it soaked up the oil that I put on it and waxed afterwards.It does seem very sturdy, time will tell.Put down the value for money, as I don't know what wood this is. If not WALNUT as I sorely think, it is NOT WALNUT, then not value for money.Would I buy this again, possibly, if I knew what wood it was made from.Would I recommend this board, NO as I can't swear as to what this board is made from.

Perfect, nice and solid and worth the money

This is a really large and robust chopping board. Beautiful wood and wonderfully crafted.As with any natural product, you need to look after it. Left wet, any wooden product can warp so don’t leave wet! Every few washes, I rub some veg oil into it - protects and brings up brand new aesthetically.This is a big lump of wood which makes it heavy - this naturally makes it more difficult to wash than smaller or lighter materials. Wifey won’t wash it, so bought myself a job there when I bought this!! Would do again in heartbeat as it is absolutely worth it for the quality.

This is a review I will actually like writing. I am just beginning to change out the kitchen essentials that I bought in younger days when everything was down to price. I have various glass chopping boards which I know are absolute murder on my quality knives so I bought a set of quality plastic boards for general stuff and then one of these for my cordon bleu days.The board is thick, chunky and weighty and does not slide around. It has a smooth quality feel to it and the tones of the wood are really quite beautiful. While the surface is not too scratched up this would also make a very good kitchen to table serving tray, it looks that nice.My board was delayed by a day and was not going to make its forecast delivery date. I received an email and a voice mail from the supplier on my mobile to advise me of this. Made no difference to my (non) cooking career, but it was reassuring that the customer was treated with such concern.All in all one of those rare purchases where I am absolutely happy with everything 100%.

They are exactly what i wanted except for an uneven surface, if you want a flat chopping board these are not.I bought three and they are all the same, apart from that they are ok.

(Update..after contacting directly the company are sending a new one as they also think there is too much filler in this case. )Ive used this style of chopping board for many years...love them. This is my first bought one from Worktop Express...I have to say I'm disappointed. There is a large chunk of wood filler in the board. In fact there are a couple of smaller bits of filler too. Although I'm sure it will still work, I will be returning as £32 is too much for something like this that I'm not happy with.
