My old is still working but the clam is broken, the replacement is more robust and easier to read and more sensitive.

Fits headstock well, bright and easy to use. Seems accurate. Much better than D'Addarrio I'm replacing that has a dull display and has its switch too close to the guitar head. The Snark has a longer reach and better switch. Not too expensive either.

Well, with 40,700 reviews why wouldn't you buy this tuner.I don't know what I can add but it's simple to use, just an on/off button it's fast and accurate. My old tuner had that matt plastic finish that gets sticky and feels awful after a while, must be sweat affecting this finish. The other Snark models have this finish and there are complaints about it. The SN-5X is the only model with this black gloss finish.Also, this model is a Chromatic tuner, which means it will tune almost all stringed instruments, not just guitar, bass and violin as it says. Shown here on my Ukelele and working well, the SN-6X for a Ukelele is just a money grabber, you don't need it !!!

While resetting my guitar intonation using snark I found the time lag irritating, the older model of the snark had no such problem, but it does tune a guitar well enough, time lag prevents full marks.

Talking about a guitar tuner is not something I can do in detail, I have only been playing guitar for a short space of time. But from the tuners I have bought and used, this is easily my favourite hands down.I love the fact that the item is quite simply a case of turn it on and tune your guitar. No fiddly buttons etc like others. It is a very sensitive device so it picks it up the strings a lot better than the other tuners I have used, the other positive being that the screen is very bright so it is very easy to see in different enviroments.This guitar tuner is nothing particularly special, it is simple and does its job. For a tenner, I certainly can't complain.

I’ve bought three of these now, though slightly different models. Excellent tuner, can be used for a bass guitar as well - I used one on a Hofner Violin Bass - some other makes of tuners don’t. Recommended.

Luckily for me, the posh tuner I wanted (4xthe price) was sold out everywhere. This one is excellent, easy to use and easy to see. It's ideal for rehearsals and gigs. The downside is the obvious fragility of the ball joints on each end of the arm... just don't sit on it or anything. I clip it on the carry handle of my amp when not in use so it doesn't get lost or trodden on.Is it accurate... I haven't tested it, but if it sounds ok to me it will sound ok to the drunken punter at the bar.

Such a huge improvement on using the old “pitch pipes” method of tuning my guitar! I could never get the hang of that and always needed a friend to tune for me, as I don’t have the ear to do it.This Snark digital tuner is fantastic though.Simply clip the small, light weight gadget on top end of guitar and twizzle it round (ball joint) to view the readout.It took me a little while to get the hang of tuning gently to get within the lines. I also realised that new strings need tuning more often. Once I got the hang of it, then I found it so easy to use.I’m using it on a steel string acoustic guitar.I’d highly recommend this to anyone who can play a guitar but doesn’t have the natural ear to tune by pitch.

Muy bueno, práctico y fácil de usar. La pantalla se ve muy bien y clara, quizá no se vea de un material muy fuerte pero es resistente y muy bien realizado.Respecto a la precisión también es muy bueno, lo comparé con el de mi hx stomp y me convenció mucho.
