magic Cane – Cane for Walking

I bought this for my mom who struggles with walking and complains about her current walking stick: she always has to lean it against things to free up her hands, but it falls over all the time and it's a struggle to bend to retrieve it. She hasn't had a chance to try this new one yet but when it arrived my sister and I had a play around with it of course, and I'm pretty confident it will do the job: it feels decently sturdy and stable, and I like the fact that you can fold it up when you don't need it. It doesn't take up much space once folded - it could probably be popped into a fair sized handbag - but even if you don't fold it up it stands happily on its own without needing to be leaned against something or constantly clattering over. I think for that alone it is a brilliant idea and will prove to be much more convenient than conventional walking canes. It has quite a few different height options you can adjust it to (but watch your fingers for pinching), although my mom's quite tiny so we've kept it on the lowest height. It arrived really quickly - very fast delivery and well packaged.

bought this for my father so no idea if it is any good I thought it would be good for him as he was always forgetting where he had put his sticks and as this on stands up on its own, I assumed it would be handy for him and always to hand,, he says he likes it but I don't think he uses it on a regular basis, he says the torch in the handle is good for when he gets up in the night but other than that, I think he is set in his ways and prefers his old sticks, so I don't think he is impressed, at 92, however, I think it is an excellent idea and would use one if I ever needed a walking aid

I purchased this cane for my elderly mother with walking difficulties, she thinks it is brilliant, it gives her more balance with having the 4 suction pads on bottom &a slightly bottom than a one pad stick. It also has a soft padded handle which helps with her grip to hold it. The light is a bonus ( not she ever goes out in dark)- but came in useful when lost something in a shop on the floor. I would definitely recommend this cane as has give my mother that extra confidence in walking . It will also stand up on its own - another bouns as she hasn't got lean it on anything or place flat on floor getting in the way when we go for a coffee. Highly recommended.

Ordered set of two walking sticks, there was not any information with the product on the website to say what sizes in heightthat the sticks could be adjusted to. Unfortunately they were to high for me. I got my son to take some length of them sothey were right size for me. I am only 5' 1" tall. I think they were between 33" and 39", I needed them to be 30".

I have emailed the seller about this item and as yet haven't had any response. I purchased this stick for a friend. The bottom came off and she nearly had a bad fall, fortunately a lady was behind her and helped her to a taxi as she couldn't walk without it. I feel terrible as I talked her into getting it. I haven't returned it as her son in law is trying to fix it but I think she's frightened to use it outdoors. It's just to be aware that this can happen.

Does what it says on the tin. grip on the handle is rather soft and may be good for some people but I find it not hard enough. The battery is very small but can be replaced when flat.

Although this does not feel as sturdy as my old stick I loved the light in it and the fact it doesn't have to be leant on anything to keep it upright was very good. Very good purchase for the money it cost me.
