Lovely piece but only 1 not a pair... It is slightly misleading really

This Stylla candle holder is a beautiful hand-carved piece of art really. I chose the Rope design to fit in with other items I already have - I love a good mixture of rustic/traditional and modern in my home so this goes perfectly with my decor, and since each one of these is individually hand carved in India from a piece of Sheesham/Indian Rose wood it means you get a lovely unique item. This only adds to it's charm for me. It feels nice and sturdy too. There is a brass section inside where you place the candle to protect the wood, which I think is great especially considering this item is only £5.76 as I'm writing this review.The design is specifically to fit dinner/tapered candles (which it does) and it makes a really nice decorative centerpiece on it's own (you could buy 2 if you prefer a pair, the price is still good value) or it looks equally beautiful standing next to other handcrafted wooden items.I'm really happy with this stylish candle holder, it's good value and good quality.

This single candle holder has an intricate design and is hand carved from sheesham wood. The wood grain has slight colour variations which only adds to its charm.I like to use it as a stand alone piece but i did find that even my smallest and narrowest candle had a hard time fitting in, so on that note i would say that this candlestick holder will only house very narrow candles. This is both an elegant and rustic piece that will look lovely in any setting.

Another great quality product from Stylla London. It complements my letter holder perfectly.I really wanted a stylish wooden candle holder as a centrepiece for my wooden dining table.This product is genuine Sheesham wood and is finished to a very high quality.It's neat and tidy with a very intricate, carved detail running through the centre. The base has fine detailed circular carvings running around it.Unlike cheaper and poorer quality products, the inside has a golden/ brass finish to protect the holder.It looks great in my kitchen and will be lovely to use in the evening and at Christmas.

I really can't fault this candlestick. It would make a (literally) unique present, because being handmade no two candlesticks will be the same. Good-looking, fair trade, supporting local artisans in India ... it's a bit of a win-win.It does come with one small word of warning though: most standard candles will require a little 'persuading' to fit the holder - but then that's true of virtually every candlestick I own (which is a lot!).That aside - thoroughly recommended.

This single candlestick by Stylla London is made from Sheesham Wood (or Shisham – commonly known as North Indian Rosewood) and is hand-carved so each piece looks individual. There are two styles – rope or pillar – which stand about seven inches high on a 2 ¾ inch base. The well in the top of the stick, where the candle fits, is not all that big so will limit the size of candle you can use – but even as a decorative piece, without a candle, it looks attractive. Currently under six pounds for the Rope style – Pillar is about a tenner – this rustic candlestick offers decent value-for-money and looks good too – four stars.

Beautiful and well made rustic candle holder, high quality and sturdy, it’s lightweight and a good size as it’s not too big but not too small, perfect for where I wanted it. Goes very well with rustic interior, nice natural wood grain colour giving a touch to the decor. Fits dinner candles fine with no problems. Great price!

Natural wood candlestick, with insert for candle. The carved stem screws onto the base. It's a nice size for a dining table, but you'd need to buy more of them to make a decent feature of them. Really nicely carved in the form of an open rope.
