Stopped using it. Although i tucked it in tight by morning it was hanging down the bottom of the side of bed. So not a lot of use. Thrown it out.

Purchased this item for a family member who suffers siezures.Was a bit puzzeld when it arrived as no straps or fixings are provided. The item is a large shaped piece of foam with 2 flat sides and one curved side. If you place this on the bed flatside down with the curve facing the bed. You can use a large flatsheet tucked in to secure the guard in place.After several months of use can say that it really works, it has saved the person from falling out of bed on loads of occasions.Overall a fantastic product, however the lack of fixings or even a washable removable cover means will have to give 4 stars rather than the 5 stars.Have looked for a removable cover and have yet to find one.

After my (adult) son fell out of bed several times during seizures, frequently becoming trapped between the bed and wall, I considered purchasing a bed rail. However, I saw this soft bed guard and thought it would be worth trying as it was far less restrictive. I'm so glad I did as it has been absolutely brilliant - no falls since I introduced it. It sits on top of the mattress under the fitted sheet and does not move at all during the night. My son who has autism, epilepsy and a severe learning disability still has plenty of room in his double bed and can get in and out with no problem but the guard is just high enough to prevent him rolling out during a seizure, even a violent one. Would definitely recommend to others with similar conditions as an alternative to a bed rail.

It took it bit of effort to get it under the fitted sheet but once in place, it only needs a little tug to get it away from the edge of the bed again.I feel more secure with it in place but haven't yet tested whether it actually keeps me in bed.

A good item but didn't work for my son. For some reason he didn't like it and proceeded to follow it out of the bed!

These are very sturdy when put under a fitted sheet. I bought two and put 1 at the bottom of my double bed and 1 at the far side to stop my elderly dog rolling out of the bed.

I got this bed bumper because my 79 year old mam fell out of bed the second time and broke part of her foot and didn't want it happening again and could be more worse if she did it again. I bought a extra fitted sheet and it as prevented her from falling out and done its job.

Absolutely brilliant. Does for less than £20 what the occupational therapists wanted to do by moving a hospital bed into our home at goodness knows what expense. Although it has to be secured with the sheet on the bed, it actually seems to grip the mattress and is all but immovable once in place. A fantastic product!
