Dexam 17830425 Stainless Steel mixing bowl, 2.0 Litre , Silver

I own a number of these bowls in a variety of sizes and they are fantastic.2L bowl - Is great for general cake batters, whipping cream - jobs where you don't quite need the size of the  Faringdon Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl, 3.5 Litres  that's also available1L bowl - This is probably our least used size but I still like having it available, I often use this bowl to melt chocolate over a small pan of water as the bowl fits better than the larger 2L bowl.500ml - I generally use this for mixing salad dressings in with my magic whisk or just for preparing my mise en place.Pros (for all sizes):LightDurable - after 12 months of serious hammer they don't look at all tired.Easy to wash - mine have been through our dishwasher as well as regularly hand washed, no problems so far.Cons:Can't think of any at all, the only thing you need to keep in mind is that you cannot use these in a microwave.

I can't understand a couple of reviewers who have bought what is obviously a reasonably cheap but nevertheless stainless steel bowl and then nit pick.I bought it with a new electronic scales with the main purpose of weighing items and it's more than adequate for that. It mixes quite well too - just as long as you hold onto it and don't overload as it's lightness then comes into play.Conclusion: Very good all round bowl with many uses. If you want anything more specialised - pay the price for heavier duty ones.

When I opened the packaging, I was pleased to discover that this mixing bowl was a lighter colour than advertised! The bowl has a solid and sturdy feel and sits flat on the surface. The item was bought to use with my hand mixer. However, although its 2-litre capacity can hold a good amount, I find its height a little too short, as it can cause the contents to overflow when using the hand mixer on higher speeds.One of the highlights of using a stainless steel mixing bowl is its ability to melt butter etc very quickly when it is placed over a pot filled with hot water!The Dexam Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl is good value for money.

A really useful little bowl, and good value. We bought it to sit on our kitchen scales, but it serves all sorts of other purposes too, and is very easy to clean.

It's ok, but I wouldn't buy another one! It's too expensive for a very normal metal bowl!

I've had this bowl for over two years now. It looks as good as it did when I bought it, despite being used frequently. I think I shall have to get the 3.5l version too.

Needed a range of quality metal mixings bowls to use at home as when you cook for a living, some things are difficult to compromise with when not at work.Mixing bowls are one of these things for me.I purchased nearly all the sizes and store them nested within each other to save space. They clean up well and do everything I could possibly want from a metal mixing bowl.Buy them!

Sehen nicht schlecht aus und erfüllen ihren Zweck. Innen bei der Bürstung gibt es manchmal kleine unwesentliche Schäden.Wasserflecken halten sich gut in der Struktur. Scheinen mir ein wenig weich zu sein - sind bei mir schon ganz schön verkratzt.Die Klebespuren vom Produktkleber sind aber immer noch drann. :-/

ottima ciotola da usare in cucina per gli usi più svariati. Soddisfatto dell'acquisto ne ho presa subito un'altra, più 2 da 3lt e due da 5lt. L'acciaio è di ottima qualità forse un po' sottile, ma questo rende la ciotola leggera e pratica da usare. Consigliato! Amazon super come al solito!!

Buon prodotto per chi ne fa un uso saltuario,per la cifra spesa non si può pretendere un acciaio pesante,ma svolge ottimamente il suo lavoro,consigliata ,molto facile da pulire....

Ciotola apparentemente inglese marcata Dexam in acciaio inox (lucido all'esterno e satinato all'interno) di circa 23 cm con bordo piuttosto largo (la fa sembrare una bacinella...) e un'ampia base piatta che assicura la stabilità. Non è dato sapere né il tipo di inox né lo spessore. La struttura sembra abbastanza solida ma c'è da scoprire la resistenza alle cadute. Il costo non è elevato ma nemmeno economico.CONCLUSIONI: Discreta

ottima ciotola in acciaio, materiale di prima qualità, resistente e facilmente lavabile, anche in lavastoviglie. Indispensabile per che lavora in cucina.
