it is very, very shiny.Even after applying 2 layers of yacht varnish.both gold and silver colors. It applies well also when mixed with acrylic acrylic paints and yacht varnishes based on resin and solvents. The flakes do not dissolve and do not create lumps.Perfect for covering large surfaces. Lots of glitter
This is quite thick glitter and you get lots of it. We bought it to help make fairy dust for a kids party and there was plenty of it and it worked well. It's not the fine glitter that might be required for some other craft jobs but it has worked well for us.
