Lovely Tablet
2 week UPDATEThought I'd give an update on this tablet having been using it for 2 weeks..... I love it. I've had a number of tablets and this comes out on top. The battery performance for general Web browsing is great and I can easily get through the day on one charge. Sound is pretty good and a decent volume. The camera is actually better than the camera on my phone and colours are clear and true. It also has a function on the tablet for anti glare ideal for night time viewing where it takes off the brightness off the screen without actually affecting the quality of the picture and sort of puts a tint on the screen idea for watching Netflix or Web browsing in bed. This feature can be programed or switched on and off as and when required. The screen resolution is lovely and small words can be read easily. Response is great no lag and overall performance seems very good. I have not used this tablet for high speed gaming so I can't comment but the games I have played work well. Build quality is excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tablet. I'm just a normal amazon customer and not paid for this review but believe a good product deserves a good review and I appreciate reading reviews before I buy a product.Bought this to replace an interior Lenovo Tab. This seems great very responsive and as yet no lagging. Not done much with it yet but so far so good. Great size for my needs which is for social media, email, shopping, reading news, general Web surfing, watching Netflix and YouTube in bed. Well worth the money and great build quality.

Great little tab at a good price
I bought the Huawei t3 8" primarily to watch movies and tv, and to do a little photo editing.I already own a Huawei phone, so I knew I was getting good quality. The build is nice - it feels solid and looks good. The picture quality is great - clear colours and amazing detail. The sound is okay (there is only one speaker) but with headphones it's fine. There's not an enormous amount of bloatware, and a lot of things can be disabled. Having an sd card makes a massive difference, and I'd recommend it. That said I downloaded 3 movies from Amazon on to the tab. It's fast, it's steady - you really can't go wrong!

Good lightweight Android 7 tablet but with very little built-in storage
It's quite a good tablet. Light but sturdy. Browsing websites in full page mode using Opera and viewing YouTube feels smooth enough. The IPS screen means colours don't look faded when you're looking at the screen from an angle e.g. when you're sharing the screen with someone next to you.And yes, it has a blue light filter mode or "Eye Comfort" mode in Huawei's words.Despite the low resolution, Full HD 1080 video files can be played back smoothly thanks to the hardware support for H.264 videos. Still to find an app that supports the Qualcomm 425 so that H.265 can playback smoothly too but hopefully video player apps will add support soon in the future. There's also 2GB of RAM unlike most budget tablets which helps keep 2 - 3 apps open so you can multitask freely without waiting for them to reload. e.g. Maybe switching between the internet browser and your social networking app.Having the latest version of Android (7.0 Nougat) out of the box is another plus so you won't have to worry about not being able to run the latest apps because the OS is too old.Battery wise I managed to get 8 hours of video (5 - 6 movies?) playback/streaming out of it from a full charge with the volume and brightness set to 1/3. It can also be charged from a regular 1A USB supply so you can use a portable battery pack to top it up which means, you'll probably need one less adapter if you're bringing it with you on your travels! So, what don't I like about it?Huawei's EMUI UI is clean and responsive but the app icons on the home screens look too big which is a waste of space. It's a 5 x 5 grid but I personally think it wouldn't have been too uncomfortable to fit 6 - 8 icons. Fortunately this isn't too hard to "fix" by using a different launcher such as Nova Launcher. Also, thanks to the low budget 1280 x 800 resolution the PPI isn't so great so you'll probably notice images looking a bit pixelated around the edges - especially if you're used to higher resolution devices like Apple devices or high end phones. The screen also doesn't have a oleophobic coating either so be prepared for a fingerprint magnet!Sound comes from the single speaker so don't expect stereo sound but, quality isn't that bad and doesn't distort at high volumes as if the speakers are buzzing like on some other tablets. There's pretty much no bass as with most built-in speakers of course.By default, there's no app drawer displayed when you first boot up the tablet so you can't view all the installed apps. You'll have to go into Settings > Home Screen Style to enable it.The specs also say it has 16GB of built-in storage but again as with most budget devices, a lot of it is already taken up by pre-installed apps that you can't uninstall. In this case, you only have 5GB of space to yourself so be sure to have a spare micro SD card ready or factor it into the cost if you plan to install/download a lot of files. It also doesn't let you switch between charge or USB transfer mode easily once you've connected it to a computer.Overall, it might be worth considering the Lenovo Tab 4 (non-plus version) which has similar specs but with stereo speakers if that's what you're after. Having said all that I think it's a good little budget tablet for what it offers, namely the latest version of the Android OS (Nougat 7.0) and 2GB of RAM at this price. Battery performance is top-notch too.

Great value Android tablet
This is an excellent quality small tablet. The screen is sharp and clear and scrolls smoothly and there's a long battery life between charges. It has a metal back which makes it feel much better quality than some cheaper all plastic tablets. It boots up quickly and 16GB of storage - extendable with a MicroSD card - is more than enough for day-to-day use. There's rather too much pre-installed software that you probably don't need but it's possible to uninstall most of it and free up some extra space. Overall a great value Android tablet.

This is a great budget tablet
The battery lasts ages! The build quality is better than expected considering the price. I find it a bit annoying that all of your apps end up on the home page including the preloaded apps. It was pretty fast for the first couple of months and then it slowed down. The resolution is lower than my phone but still good enough for the basics.

A great little tablet.
I've owned this tablet for over a year now so have had plenty of time to get to know it. So well designed with loads of clever features. It's not the top of the range, I was only looking for a basic tab for surfing the net and listening to music but It's far exceeded my expectations with all the apps to explore in the Google store. The battery is superfast to recharge and lasts a long time. It's robust and great value fo money. If I ever need a new one I would not hesitate to buy another Huawei !
