Had to give my own review as i feel a lot of these review's have been done by negative minded people , First of all I've only Read Daniel Way and Gail Simone's Runs on Deadpool so i dont feel inhibited to compare them to Joe Kelly because i've never read his nor have any inclination to do so .This TPB is both funny and heartwarming .. which i think must be to the credit of Mr Way , i Wont Spoil it but the Parts with the Meat Suit made me LOL numerous times. I'm In my Mid twenty's and like Comedys from Monty Pythons holy grail all the way to 40 year Old Virgin and Harold And Kumar . No matter your age or comedic sensibilities , i would highly highly recommend this as your entry into the world of the "merc with the mouth" . The H

When i found out about the Deadpool film being made, i decided to check out this guys back story and came across this. Being a complete Deadpool noob and knowing nothing about him at all other than "he's completely mental" and has regenerative capabilities, i kinda hesitated about this at first, but decided Meh - might as well. I gotta say, I absolutely love this! The stories are all great, and it's the same with the artwork. There's plenty of humour thrown in and even just the way all the voices in his head interact with one another is hilarious! Quite a few times i actually laughed out loud.. Anyways, I've since ended up buying the next 2 volumes in the series just down to how much i loved this one. If you dunno where to start, I'd certainly recommend trying this one out ;)

I have never been a huge fan of Deadpool but after becoming more familiar with him through reading X-Force graphic novels, I decided to give him a go. That was a fantastic decision and now I can't get enough of him! I don't know whether people new to the Marvel universe would like this graphic novel but for people who are wanting to learn more about Deadpool then this is fantastic. This volume seems to span the Secret Invasion and Dark Reign eras in the Marvel universe and that brings me to a negative point. Before buying this book I had the "Deadpool Volume 2: Dark Reign" graphic novel but that is now a waste of money given that it is included in this complete collection so if you are buying various Deadpool graphic novels, be careful not to duplicate the graphic novels in your collection. This book made me laugh out loud in several places and I would highlly recommend this graphic novel to people who love the "Merc with a Mouth".

As this was my first ever purchase of a deadpool comic (first purchase of a comic all together really) after being intrigued due to the movie trailer I thought I'd try my hand on a couple of DP novels, needless to say I was very impressed and absolutely love the character, from him arguing with himself to his random hallucinations.....deadpool is certainly a must and I cannot wait to purchase more of these graphic novels and perhaps some spiderman novels too. I'm truly a very happy customer!

Bought as a gift for my boyfriend last month and he couldn't put it down! He enjoyed the story and it's increased his love of Deadpool, who was already his favourite Marvel character. The book itself is high quality glossy paper and includes several stories, making it excellent value. Very durable, which is handy as it looks like it will be read again very soon!

I've only ever come across Deadpool as a "guest" character, in other comics and generally found him annoying, so this seemed a decent way to give him a go... and boy am I glad I didThe Merc with the Mouth is hilarious, not one off quips like Spider-Man, but full on, relentless taunting, most of which he's oblivious toI can't recommend this collection enough and will be getting Vol. 2 asap

After watching the test footage for the movie that wasn't released or even made I was compelled to buy this first volume. It made me laugh out loud and it was everything I was led to believe the comic would be. Perfect for people who are first timers like me and want to find out what deadpool is all about. Can't wait to purchase the next volume!

It’s Deadpool you see what you get violence and comedy. I enjoyed how the stories connected even when the art style changed.
