SWOOOOON 🫠
This was such a light-hearted romance, even when dealing with heavy topics. Despite the minor conflict towards the end, it made sense and I can look past it. Overall tho 🤌🏻I love Bea's character, she's fun and clumsy and relatable in her own way. And West! What have you done to me?Their whole dynamic ❤️🔥 and the things they imagine and fantasize got me all 🫠 NBR and PA are really meant to be, I live for the chess jokes (+ the sex)P.S. Jamie and Bea are a neurodivergent couple; Beatrice is on the autism spectrum, and Jamie has anxiety. In fact, the author herself is neurodivergent, and I respect the hell out of her for showing this perspective I never knew I needed 🥺P.P.S. Cornelius the hedgehog stole the show, and Jamie's kittens need more appearances 😂P.P.P.S. Wait's over! Kate and Christopher are finally here 🥹𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁: Just thirty-seven chapters of witty and chucklesome interactions between the MCs, with lots of hot and wild fantasies in between 🪄

“Sometimes, Beatrice, I want to ruin you for everyone else.”
Two Wrongs Make A Right by Chloe Liese- 4.5Content Warnings: Toxic relationship, Emotional abuse, Biphobia, Panic attacks/disorders, Gaslighting“Sometimes, Beatrice, I want to ruin you for everyone else.”James may have wanted to ruin Beatrice for everyone else but Chloe surely succeeds in ruining me for everyone out there with the sky-high expectations she sets every time with her characters…I haven’t read Much Ado About Nothing so my review will not be about how well she done the retelling but just me raving about the magical goodness of this book, because Chloe just writes some real good books and I feel like crying every time not knowing if I’ll experience a love like the ones Chloe creates.Jamie and Beatrice don’t have a meet-cute, but their friends must see something because they trick them into going on a date and soon, they find themselves scheming against their meddling friends and agreeing to fake date. But soon the lines between fake and real seem to get blurred…God knows how much I love fake dating, and with the subtle enemies-to-lovers inclusion, Chloe definitely nailed it! The romance between Jamie and Beatrice is so pure and fluffy. Its gentle and while there’s definitely some instant attraction that the both of the feel towards each other, it is developed so well among the both of them.I love Jamie’s character(him being a paediatrician made me swoon so bad) and how well he is with Beatrice, he even makes blended soup for her to try out when he finds that she dislikes them with diced veggies because of the texture of the veggies... *swoons*. The relationship between the both of them is something I’ll think about for quite some time and I’m not even surprised because I often find myself thinking about the Bergman brothers too… so this is just me saying I think of Chloe’s characters A LITTLE TOO OFTEN.Also, plus points for the fact that this book gave us dual P.O.V. I think it is also important to mention how well the neurodivergent representation is handled in the book, there’s absolute normalisation of Bea’s autism and Jamie’s anxiety which is a thing to adore.“I don’t see you differently. I see you better.”The only reason I’m giving it 4.5 and not 5 is because of the way the friends manipulated Jamie and Beatrice in the beginning. I am not a fan of it and I’m extremely proud of Beatrice for handling this manipulation by confronting the friends. There’s no excuse for manipulation no matter what the results may be.There are some hints about this turning into a series and God knows id sell my soul if it was because I’m so excited for what the story between Kate and Christopher…

Dazzling romance that make you fall in love with the romance genre
I recently found out that Chloe Liese can make me feel every kind of giddy emotion when reading her work, so I had to do a deep dive into her catalog and that is how I ended up reading Two Weongs Make a Right.Liese deserves the utmost credit for her ability to write complex characters who grow together, find each other understand each other, and most importantly, can communicate with one another. It is so refreshing to read a romance book that has the two characters' community through a possible miscommunication. I cannot count the number of times throughout this book when I was sitting convinced that I was hitting a miscommunication trope but it never came. Thank God for that. The book was full of tension, angst, and a delightful relationship grew on understanding of each other and it could not have been any more perfect. While I loved the novel and cannot wait to read more work by Liese, I did not love the main conflict in the book... at all. [The main issue was stupid and childish, and I did not feel nor did I agree with Bea on her reason for taking a break with Jamie which was she needed to not rub her relationship in her sister's face since she just went through a break-up. For a novel that throughout the entirety of the book was mature and handled conflict so well, this was disappointing and anticlimactic.] The conflict alone made me doubt whether or not the novel deserved 4 stars as opposed to 5. However, I stuck with 5 as I generally was smiling through 99% of the novel as my heart was fluttering away.Would highly recommend it if you are looking for a romance novel that makes you fall deeply in love with the characters and their love story.

another Chloe Liese win
TW: biophobia, toxic relationship, manipulation, absentee parents, panic attack, and others I may have missed.Bea and Jamie realize that they’ve been on the receiving end of their friends meddling. Playing Cupid because they think they would be good together? Preposterous - they can’t stand each other the minute they meet. They want payback, so they agree to fake a relationship to convince everyone the meddling worked, only for them to call them out at the end of their plan. Except of course, the more time they spend together, the more they realize that maybe what they’re feeling isn’t pretend.I just realized that I never reviewed/marked it read on Goodreads 🤦🏼♀️ oops so sorryChloe Liese is an author that never really misses for me. She jams her books full of rep, witty banter, relatable-to-me characters (neuros), and always has such a good grasp on where she wants her story to go.TWMaR hits all of those boxes. Two people who fully believed they were opposites in everything only realized they had way more in common than they realized because their friends meddled. I thought their progression into real friendship was so cute.Communicating your boundaries is one thing, but having the person you’re telling them to actually follow through and make them easier for you to handle is something entirely. Bea and Jamie were able to bring that out in each other: Jamie experimented with puréed soups because Bea has an aversion to textures of veggies. Jamie struggles expressing himself and Bea acknowledges her interruptions/shutting down.I haven’t read Much Ado About Nothing in a very long time, so I can’t speak on how loose or close the reimagining is, but it’s a great book that definitely stands on its own.

Love the Autism rep!!
I loveeeeee this book. Amazing Autism & Anxiety rep. A FMC with tattoos. Ugh I love Bea!! I don't know much Shakespeare but that didn't matter. This book is just so good and full of joy. Lots of tropes but they are done very well <3I love Chloe Liese and would read anything she writes. But the Autism rep in this book really was something special!

Perfection
Much Ado About Nothing Inspired story, you couldn’t hold me back from reading this and Chloe Liese absolutely smashed it with this. I loved her writing style, how I felt every emotion and the characters were just brilliant, so realistic and compelling. Then you’ve got the fact the male lead suffers from anxiety and the female lead is neuro-divergent , it’s the kind of representation I dream of and reading romcoms with HEA’s for everyone in society, it’s just getting better in books all the time (even when life feels quite the reverse) I just think this was simply wonderful and I give it 10 stars out of 5 .
