Lanard The Corps! Universe Army Playset has enough pieces with varying colors to have a full out war game with children. The pieces are durable and better quality than other army figures we've had. I like the variations of figures and materials. It allows one to use their imagination. Having 3 sets of figures in one (color wise) was really why I purchased this particular set so my kids could play together without fighting. While to figures have some details it's not over the top but when have army figures really been significantly detailed? This set is a pretty good value for what you get. I spent some time comparing sets and purchased a couple others but this particular one had better options and functionality.

these are the highest quality army men we can find. if you get these and some of the miniature base models its makes for an awesome play experience. my son has a different idea on what he's doing with them just about everyday and he's got some really gnarly toys

My boys (aged 4, 6 and 9) have multiple 'army men' sets - buckets of knights, soldiers, firemen, whatever. This became their favorite set the moment they got it. They liked that there are three colors of troops, and that each color actually has some different stuff (red has a big robot that the other colors don't have, for example). They also like all the fortification bits and that there are wall guns that you can add or remove to the fort pieces. My oldest dubbed this the 'scifi army men bucket' because they have a more near-future feel than standard ww2 army men. Quality and quantity are great and the price ($14 at the time of this review) is great for what you get. As an adult with too many kid toys all over the floor all the time, I like that the bucket is sturdy and reusable compared to the flimsy containers most toy army men come in these days, so they clean up quickly.

My 3 year old loves these and they come with a nice sturdy carrying case!

These are more detailed army men than our others. My kids really like the additional pieces for setting up and playing battles. These are more current/futuristic looking. Great value for the money!

I’m glad I found these for my son. I use to play with the old green ones back in the day. These are very durable and colorful. It also comes with air support and anti-air units. Pretty cool, and a modern look. Instead of WW 2 gear. With the money, hope more are made of this line.
