The Adventures of Tintin – Compact Editions – The Tintin Collection: 8 Book Box-Set: The Complete Official Classic Children’s Illustrated Mystery Adventure Series

As a huge fan of Tintin from a very young age myself had to get the mini book collection of my favourite cartoon graphic novel character to add my collection. Yes it's missing Congo and shark lake but they can be brought separately if your a huge fan and collector . But it's still a amazing way to keep enjoying the adventures of tintin, snowy, captain haddock, professor Calculus and many more favourite characters and adventures. The books are very colourful and nice size to read in bed or relaxing in a comfy chair.

'Tintin' was a part of my childhood and we all read a great deal as we grew up (Everything from 'Tintin' to 'Just William' through to Willard Price's 'Adventure' series and many more besides). I struggle to get the Grandchildren off their devices......'Book....what's a book?'...so I was immediately attracted to this set. It's perfect, doesn't take up too much room and I will read it all in time. As other purchasers have noted, although the format is smaller than originally published, I think it's a handy size for reading. Now.......let's try and get those pesky grandkids interested!

Excellent cartoon series.

A bit expensive but purchased as a birthday gift, and well received by the recipient. Nostalgia gift.

The books and packaging are amazing quality, and came in perfect condition. The print size is fine, and the picture quality is just as good as the paperback version. Just because the comics are compact doesnt lessen the magic of the stories, and find the size of the book is way better to read in bed, it's also not flimsy so I like these better for reading with in the evening than the paperback. they are just as good as eachother but for me the hardback is more practical and aesthetic, without sacrificing the stories and quality! As good as the original

All the wonderful Tintin stories in a smaller but well printed format (apart from Tintin in Africa). Super to read again as I go through my second childhood.

Love it, had the originals and these come in a nice box set and hardback and easy to hold and read in bed .

The quality of the books is excellent. Smaller than the original book (CD in picture to see size) but much more convenient and ideal to read in bed. Some reviews are critical of the print size but I didn't find it a problem. The drawings are sharp and colourful just as I remember them as a kid. Brings back lots of happy memories would recommend to anybody who grew up with Tintin

Si siempre te han gustado los comics de tintin o la serie, esta edicion es ideal para obtener la colección completa en ingles a un precio reducido. Reducido también es su tamaño, yo me esperaba que tuviesen un tamaño grande pero son más bien pequeños, aunque no presentan dificultades para su lectura. La mayor pega es que la caja que forra los libros llegó golpeada

Awesome book, good quality paper and print worth every penny. It was my bucket list to have the full collection of Tintin but it was always very costly, this was very cheap for the price and quality.
