Wrrryyyyyyyy
How powerful is the air jet? Well, let's see: enough to make a large dimple on exposed skin, snatch breath away if pointed at the face (don't do that!), knock objects over on the other side of the room, tear paper, push a tumbler full of water -- oh, and turn a dusty computer into a very clean computer in a blizzard of liberated dust, in a fraction of a second. It jerks in your hand as the 500W motor spins up, and leaves dust-free surfaces in its wake. (Make sure to open a window or have an air purifier on though, or it'll all re-settle!).You should always turn off equipment and immobilise any fans (i.e. by inserting a screwdriver) before using any kind of air jets, as they will cause fans to spin and generate reverse current, damaging sensitive components. This is true of even the "canned air".Advantages over canned air are that you aren't spraying freezing cold, partly liquid, highly flammable butane all over your computer, and that it won't ever run out or weaken after a few gusts. It's also considerably more powerful: I've taken it to dusting other parts of my home such as under the sofa, by blowing all the dust out so I can hoover it.Disadvantages of the design are the air intake placement on the base (it seems almost intuitive to hold it against the chest, which will block the intake!), and the fact that it is single speed. The latter can be controlled by using the different nozzles that come with it. The intake also has a coarse filter which is easy enough to take out and clean with a blast of air. It will also get quite warm with prolonged use: not quite a hairdryer though. Most people will be put off by the price, but it's really not any more or less expensive than other air dusters out there and it has no major design flaws. It will also pay for itself quickly if you do a lot of dusting of electronic equipment, because canned air isn't actually that cheap for what it does.

Powerful and easy to use
I bought this to clean electronics as the disposable cans sometimes spray liquid vapour due to the expansion of the gas from the can.I thought a plug in electric one would solve this issue and while it's kinda pricey I know I'll get a lot of use out of it so I took the plunge and ya know what this is really an excellent product. I was surprised at how powerful it is, this thing can easily be felt across a room. When blowing the dust from my electronics I had to hold it about a foot and a half to two feet away because the air coming out was so powerful I was afraid it would knock a component off the electronics. But I don't count that as a negative, I'd rather it be overly powerful and require some caution on my part than be too weak. As for the job, it worked perfectly I was able to eject all the dust from my computers in mere minutes. I would recommend having the vacuum to hand as you're blowing as the fine dust will be ejected absolutely everywhere and some of it will naturally fall back into the case if you're not vacuuming the air as you're using the Air Duster. It is a bit loud but no more so than an average vacuum cleaner, if you have dogs that like to bark as you vacuum they'll likely bark at this for the same reason. It's not too heavy to hold for extended periods and the cord is quite long making it easy to maneuver from the plug socket. So overall I'd recommend this product. It saves a lot of time over using cans of compressed air, it's much more powerful than any compressed air cans I've used and of course with no liquid vapour it's much safer for electronics. My only caution would be, try it out away from your stuff so you can get a sense of how powerful it is with the various nozzles included.

'The King' of Electric Air Dusters
Before you read my review please note that I am a mechanical, electrical & technical engineer by trade, so you're also 'preaching to the choir'. You could probably refer to me as 'The King' of the electric air duster domain. Don't even message me about anything about this product because I know A level physics and am subscribed to 'minute physics' on youtube so I already know about 10x whatever your tiny pea head brain will ever know. This blower gets hot for seemingly no reason. Things with motors inside them don't usually get hot, it makes no sense! And I know what Ohm's law is, before you remind me, so please don't try and tell me why a product with a 500W motor in it would get hot in any way because you are ignorant and stupid. Never in physical history has electrical energy been converted into heat energy in any way. It gets hot because it uses cheap capacitors. Capacitors are known to get hot when exposed to a sudden movement of air (by simply blowing on a capacitor it will increase in temperature by 2000C, I know this because I'm a mechanical, electrical & technical engineer by trade, so you're also 'preaching to the choir' and you are ignorant.) 'Unflawed products' do NOT require the customer to take special precautions, make sacrifices on not using certain included attachments (designed to be used with the product), or only use the product in a certain way to ensure that it operates within safe temperatures. This is why I do not use light bulbs in my house. They also operate at ridiculous temperatures and can cause human injury because they are a flawed product. I should be able to change a lightbulb with my bare hands but cannot. I use a large amount of glow sticks instead. Much safer.____________________________________________________________________________________________My real review.Absolutely essential. I bought a 6 pack of canned air form Costco for 18 quid and I can't help but think about how much of a waste that was. The thing is with canned air is that you are applying a relatively strong stream of air through a skinny straw which blows dust away. This means you have to drag this straw all over the place to get rid of the dust becasue it affects such a small area. The electric dust blower provides what is probably a stronger stream of air over a much larger area. I cleaned the heat sinks in my PC in about 10 seconds each, and the amount of dust it removed was outstanding. I mean when you turn it on it recoils in your hand it's that powerful. It took me about 5 minutes to blast all the dust out of my PC whereas it's taken about 20 using canned air, purely because it fails to get all the dust out of the fan blades and such. Some people mention that the blower gets hot and have some concerns about that. Yes, it gets warm after some use however it's not warm enough that it's going to damage any PC components. If you wanted to do damage, you would have to hold it still over a surface for about 2-3 minutes. It's got a 500W motor, of course it's going to get hot. But since you're going to be moving it around all the time, blowing dust away and not holding it still over your hardware the risk of toasting anything is absolutely minimal. I wouldn't worry about it.For dusty PCs or surfaces or whatever I fully recommend this blower. Worked a treat blasting cat hair out of my keyboard too.
