The ten commandments steelbook is a 10/10
This has been one of my favourite movies for over 40 years and I have it on all platforms but when I received it on 4K I was blown away ,I mean the steelbook was already amazing and looks really nice. The 4K disc however is a whole different story....for a movie from 1956 that is nearly 4 hours long it's an unbelievable achievement to make it look this good ,it simply is beautiful and will most likely be my most valued possession in my collection. If you love this movie and you are doubting to upgrade your Bluray........all I can say is " Thy shall not doubt about purchasing this incredible movie on 4K"Seriously,it's an amazing experience.....movie 10/10..... 4K transfer 10/10....and the steelbook 10/10..... Go buy it

Hollywood version, of course. Is it true history ...
Hollywood version, of course. Is it true history? Today we are yet in the process of finding out, and much of what has been written does not accord or add up. Questions are being asked about the accuracy of this story, and credibility of some of them are lacking in conviction. The defence that '' it is written in the bible''' no longer holds the stultifying conviction it once had. It may be written in the bible, but by whom? And does that guarantee its accuracy? We want answers. We want accuracy. We demand the truth. Let us continue the research so that our brains can be washed.Do tell us, who was this man's father? Indeed, who was this man? Why is the bible silent on this fact of his father? And is Moses an Egyptian word or name? Where was he buried and by whom? And this story about the Exodus? I even saw Menachin Begin, and I may have spelt his name wrong, boasting to tourists that they, the descendants of Kazars who were converts to Judahism in the eight century, built the Pyramids. The Pyramids were there, built and in place long before even the birth of Abraham, the first Jew, from whom the Israelites (and I do not mean the descendants of the Kazars, they are Jews by conversion and not by blood. They had no historical connection with that part of the world) claim their descent.

The pinnacle of 4K picture
Wow! That’s all I could think watching this in 4K on an OLED display. Vistavision makes for a seamless 4K transfer. Firstly, the aspect ratio is great in that it makes full use of your TVs dimensions, adding to immersion. The detail is incredible, you can see so much! Water looks like it will spill out of your screen. The colours pop, particularly the Egyptian scenes and costumes. The commemoration scene in the beginning of the film, when Moses returns to Seti with spoils, is captivating. I can say this disc is the best I have seen so far (I have not seen Lawrence of Arabia yet, thus I cannot compare these). If you want a disc to show off the power of 4K to your friends this is the one. It’s amazing that a film from 1956 looks better than every modern movie put out today.
