Lightning and product stability
You know for $16 I was expecting something to just get me by but I am actually impressed on how it’s made I have 3 of these lights now. it’s very stable and waterproof I actually dropped it in tank when I was setting it up.Lightning is great bright but not to bright to harm my plants has grow light 3 blue 3 red on the 16” one great for a 10-15 gallon tank.

I really like this light!
As a non-recovering Tankoholic. I own several different brands of lights from the Fluval 3.0 ,hygger 957 and everything from shop lights to outdoor spotlights. Every aquarium I have is heavily life planted deep substrate natural tanks. So I am hoping this very inexpensive light is worth at least what I paid for it and if it is worthy I may need a dozen more.So far at first use I can say light output is worthy of the price, I have no choice but to admit this light will grow low level light plants very well in a 1 foot tall tank. as far as longevity and durability I will comment on that in six months or sooner if it pukes out.The physical size of this light is much smaller than expected, which is nice for nano tanks. The light does come from the factory set up to be used on a rimless tank, The plastic clips with a lot of work can be removed to sit on glass top. I say a lot of work because I actually had to use two pliers to break the pieces of plastic apart.I would love to fall in love with this light if it continues to work as it does now for at least one year I should be happy after all it was a $14 light. As far as the build quality, it was a $14 light. So far do I like it at $14 yes I absolutely do, so far!One month update. The light has been working like a champ for a month now. Each of the LEDs are still working. My only complaint with this light so far would be the color, it is very white almost unnatural, but easy to remedy with a drop of red food coloring and a paintbrush. I give the glass aquarium top a light wash with a red Magic marker to help warm up the color palette. This greatly helped the looks of my CPD‘s and bloody Mary shrimp, Inside a heavily planted 10 gallon. So far still a good light for $14Two months on and still working just fine. This light (16”)is almost too bright for a 10 gallon. My bloody Mary shrimp glow like little red lightbulbs on my black Eco complete substrate. I’ve cut the light back too six hours a day and the plants are still going crazy.18 month update all of them are still working just fine, none of the LEDs have burned out on the five lights I am running. I am getting ready to buy a couple more of these for the plants I have growing out the tops of my aquariums, I have around 10 riparians set up full of house plants with the roots inside the aquariums.I am running a couple of these lights now in my fish room on my own timers they have been working flawless.Dollar for dollar I don’t think you can find a brighter light than this. Will it show off the colors of all fish of course not but it does what it does very well.

Lits the whole tank & room
The media could not be loaded. For the price is amazing! I had no clue it could lit the whole tank (great for plants to grow) and even my room, making it a blue color. Feels like im under the water! Now for a minute I struggled turning the lights on, I kept pressing the timer and nothing until I looked at the red button, it needs to be on "I" not "O" for the lights to switch on. Just alittle advice if others struggle too.

Great Budget Light
Decent to great spectrum depending on the length; nice and bright, good plant growth. Not the most solid construction nor is the fixture itself much to look at. One came with some scuffs. I'm always wary of cheap white plastic yellowing over time.Timer is pretty simple. No dimming with: always on, always off, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours. There is a manual rocker switch that works in conjunction with the timer.I like that the adapter is on the cord rather than the plug, but the cord itself is rather short. The price and brightness make it too hard to take away any stars. Would make a great back up light for an emergency for anyone.

So far so bright EDIT RUSTS!
The media could not be loaded. For the $12 I paid, it’s worth the money. It’s perfect for shallow tanks and gets down to the bottom of the tank. I do wish it had a dimmer. It’s either on or off no inbetween. It’s fairly skinny and small which is what I wanted for the tank which is 18x6x7.5. I do not think it would be great for deeper tanks however. The timer is 3,6,12 or 24 hours and does work however the cord is very short so I need to get an extension cord or longer outlet block. Reason for four stars instead of five - cord is too short, wish there was a dimmer or color changer. Other than that it’s great especially for $12. The clips are good for rimless tanks and fit perfectly but would not fit a tank with a rim so keep that in mind when buying. Over all very happy with it. I was aiming for a low cost planted tank and this light is perfectly cheap for it.EDIT after a few weeks of owning the light - there now there is rusting inside half of the light where my Aerator bubbles up a bit. It also has gotten very cloudy from being above the water. It is not waterproof by any means and does rust. To be honest the side that has the rust actually brings the color of my dragon rock out very well lol but I do not like the idea of it not being waterproof so I will be returning and getting something else. I also do not like that the timer does not have a 8 or 10 hour option because 12 was too long for my plants. I have to set it at 6 then after 6 I have to set it at 3. With that my plants like the light and are growing well but I will get something with a dimmer and better timer.

Amazing light!
Love this! Got is for my 14g frameless shrimp/aqua plant tank and my plants have taken off!! Got the recommendation from someone off reddit and it's amazing! Durable, bright, fits the top, and when I get a bigger tank I can adjust it as needed!

DO NOT BUY ANY OTHER LIGHT! THIS IS THE BEST!
Plenty of bright white light (2000 lumens). Plus it allows great visualization from the top of the tank - only 2 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" high. Best of all only $15 bucks! I have tried many others and they are not as good and more expensive.p.s.- I have 10 and 15 gallon tanks.
