Easy to read but getting typical of Patterson. The books are not the same as early ones and makes me wonder if he had much to do with writing them.

Great read .
Really good story telling, lots of unexpected twists ,and a very surprise ending. James Patterson books have a favourite author of miner for many years ,his books are never boring.

An OK read
It took me some time to get into the storyline of this book and for a while I didn't think I was going to enjoy it, however, I stuck with it. A bit complicated at times and different from his usual books.

Book review
Loved this book, Iām always confident when I choose a James Patterson read, this is a bit different. A good insight of the main characters thoughts which are both educating and funny at times.

Okay
I love James Patterson but this book did not thrill me at all. I found it disappointing and couldn't wait to get to the end so I could read something else.

Don't be fooled
I've read everything that I know of that James Patterson ever wrote. I include the children's books and the books that JP has lent his name to in the past to support other authors - and I've also read this one (which he lends his name to also) 'Mistress'.If you are considering buying this book simply because JP has his name on the cover, please think twice. This was the most tiresome book I've read in a long time and I persevered only because it was a James Patterson and I felt sure it would become interesting at some point. It's clear that the main character has either OCD or an Autistic disorder.....which is absolutely fine I may add (I have two grandchildren who are Autistic). Except that his problems never get recognised at all during the book.....and they never end!!! He has a huge awareness of films and actors and where normally a person would ''stop and think'', this character just relates himself to loads of films and film stars. It's almost impossible to work out what the story/plot really is because your mind keeps getting bombarded by old or less old, films and film personalities.I simply can't imagine why JP has leant his name in support of this author. I know his own son has problems but......we all have problems and tend to read to remove ourselves from them for a little while; like reading a book?I never thought I'd leave a poor review for a JP book but here it is. If it's offered for free, give it a go, if not I wouldn't buy it.I almost feel like a traitor by leaving such a negative review but I'd love to hear other reviews that prove to me that I've got it all wrong. It was simply an awful book. The action picks up towards the end but unfortunately your mind is so full of irrelevant rubbish by that point that it just can't sink in.Sorry JP. My first ever awful review.
