Bought this to replace the used one in my Geo F Trumpers wooden soap dish. It's 10 x better than the Trumpers puck. The Trumpers puck had the most watery lather and the only way I could use it was by putting some proraso pre shave cream on first. The new Taylors puck lathers up brilliantly and the lather stays on your face. Cheaper as well. Only downside is the puck is slightly too narrow for the box but it still fits ok

I prefer a shaving brush and soap as it feels better to me and lasts a lot longer than foam cans.

Having previously used Edwin Jagger soap, I decided it was time for a change. My choice for change couldn’t have been better. My new soap produces a far superior shave. This soap has a fresh but not overpowering fragrance, and forms a luxuriously thick and creamy lather. Excellent product.

Love this shaving soap, but one star knocked off as the refill works out more expensive than a new soap in a plastic shell. Not overly brilliant in these days of trying to reduce plastic waste, but hey ho.

I have tried many many shaving creams and soaps over my 50 plus years of shaving. This product is soft on the skin and pleasantly perfumed. It last for a long time, making it great value.

This is a good soap that smells nice

For my morning shave, I dip my brush in hot water and lather up with TOBS's sandalwood soap. As I swirl the brush to build up a good creamy froth, the scent takes me back to a time when I was a young man, an officer in Her Majesty's Government, stationed in India. (Or was it Bangladesh?) I had a house full of servants who would serve me tea and crumpets. Afterwards, I would join the other officers for gin and tonics at the Club, and watch the sun set over the Empire.At least, that's what I like to imagine. The sandalwood scent is strong enough to make you poetical and nostalgic all at once, and it's why I will only use this for my shaves.

Diese Rasierseife kaufe ich schon seit mehreren Jahren. Ich habe Problemhaut, vertrage also nicht diese Schäume oder billigen Cremes.Durch eine Top-Beratung, in einem Barbershop in Bayern vor mehr als 15 Jahren, habe ich dann diese Seife das erste Mal erleben dürfen und bin voll begeistert von der Zusammenstellung Duft, Cremigkeit, Schaumbildung, Gleitfähigkeit während der Rasur und auch der Nachhaltigkeit, also sehr ergiebig.Für mich gibt es keine bessere Rasierseife. Meine Haut dankt es mir jeden zweiten Tag.

Quand on acheté le bol en bois il est avantageux de pouvoir acheter une simple recharge un an ou presque après.Ce savon est excellent, pour moi en tous cas. Il facilite le rasage, sent bon mais pas trop, et dure plutôt longtemps (en ce qui me concerne).

é un ottimo prodotto, davvero. Questo è il refill, che va nella sua ciotola in legno. attenzione, alcune ciotole in legno di altre marche (Floris, Penhaligons, Jagger, Trumper..) potrebbero non essere adatte.Devo dire che, costando anche 1/3 del suo equivalente Floris, Creed o Penhaligon's, è davvero un OTTIMO acquisto.
