This costume will make you feel completely epic!! The wig and dress look the part! The dress fitted me well and was the right length! Which was a relief being quite short- I did have visions of attempting to take it up like most my clothes... Nevertheless perfect fit!! It is see through but as other comments have said appropriate nude coloured underwear solve the problem! The belt for the xs costume was way to big but just modified it my doubling the rubber and sewing to make it smaller! Once the belt fitted it completed the costume! Oh and a trusty water gun to act as a blaster also made a more authentic look. Postage was insanely fast- like light speed fast! Very very happy with this product and the company!! Will have plenty of use out if the costume- can adapt it for other costumes as well which is super handy! Thank you!

It fits well (isn't too tight or baggy) and the length is a perfect length. The thigh split isn't as high as pictured which is good. The material is a bit see-through but it's not that bad! Overall good value for money. The belt is made of a rubber material and the colour is off white but the wig fits well and is good quality.

The dress fits well (I am a size 10) and although it is made of cheap see-through material, it is stretchy and comfy and does the job. It is actually very glamorous. As per other reviews, I wore skin coloured underwear which meant that you don't need to worry about the material being so thin. I have long hair and so didn't need to use the wig although did try it out and could not get it to cover all my hair so it didn't work for me - but guess it would be great for someone with short hair. It has a net attached to keep the hair in place so quite well done. The belt was the main issue. No kidding it was for someone whose waste was about 50% bigger than me. It is joined by Velcro so I had to cut off about 8" of the belt (it is made of a kind of rubber), unstitch the Velcro and re-stitch it to the new overlap region. A bit of a faff but it worked. Once I had made all the adjustments, this outfit did look fab and with some boots I bought, the costume looked great. For me though, at nearly £40, this was very expensive and about £20 would be more in keeping with other costumes I have bought.

I ordered this for a May the Fourth Be With You party and it went down a treat! Cute costume and good value for the money. I was scared I had ordered a size too small and it fit perfectly, so just be aware this seems to run a bit big. It's also quite see-through so wear appropriate underclothes :)

Pretty good costume, my only complaint is it is quite see through so be prepared to wear a bodysuit underneath and some tights other than that it’s fine.Complements the body very nicely and it’s super stretchy! I had no problems with the belt either it’s a little big but looks fine.The wig isn’t perfect but completes the look nicely.

It looked great. I ordered a Medium and im 5’2 and am a 10/12. I wore a cream vest top under it and it was fine as the fabric is only polyester type - stretch but a little thin. I got a lot of compliments and enjoyed the attention considering this is Leia’s modest outfit!

Ok, I'm giving this a 1 star as it looks nothing like the good quality costume you see on the front worn by the model. The one the model is wearing isn't see through, it looks well made and of a reasonable quality. What you get is something quite different. Firstly it's very see through. I could actually see my belly button through it and you can see any stitching of your underwear. It's so very very very thin. Next is the stitching; my 5 yr old niece could have done a better and neater job of stitching it. The armpits had gaping holes where it's just missed so many stitches and many of them are loose and if you buy the size where it's hugging you, the stitch will gape and reveal the poor quality to everyone else. On the plus side it's a good flattering style and looks the part. I'm a size 10 pair shape 5'4inch and the size 10-12 was fine on me. It was clinging but not tight at all. So perfect size for me. The length came about 3 inches above the ankle and I have short legs but I was happy with this length. If you're not planning on doing any energetic dancing and the room is darkish I'd recommend it but anything more energetic you might want to add a few more stitches in it to stop it from falling apart and if you have any slight fat areas or dimples everyone will know about it... Unless it's a dim room. I'd recommend buying it if you're not too bothered about the quality as it looks cool.

I was really disappointed when I received my costume. I ordered an extra small (size 6-8) but the belt is far too big and won't stay on. The dress is also not the same length as shown in the picture (or same quality) and only goes to past my knees when I am barefoot. I am not sure if there has been a mix-up in the dress and belt size that was sent to me but I am very unhappy with the product. The only redeeming feature is the wig which is great!

Fit just right and looks great.

As many have said, I was skeptical before ordering due to the price and other reviews. Now that I have successfully worn the costume (complete with wig) and been the hit of my Halloween party, I had to write a detailed review so that those who are still skeptical can order with confidence!! First, I am 5'2", 120 lbs. with curvy hips/booty. I usually wear a 4/6 dress - more often a 6 for my hips. I ordered the small which fit perfectly except that the sleeves were a bit longer than you see in the photo of the model but I expected that and it wasn't worth shortening the sleeves. The length was perfect for me as I ordered some very sexy platform boots with a 3-4" heel (not the ones from Rubies on this website) - basically the length for me ended up being exactly as you see in the photo of the model here. More info on the "dress"....it was see through, however I wore a nude bra and Spanx pantyhose and then wore nude tights over that because our party was an indoor/outdoor in a barn and I wanted to be warmer. The control top of the Spanx would have just barely been covered by the dress (ie: not seen in the slit). I am also short-waisted, so I did feel like the "waist" of the dress was a bit lower on me than it would have been on someone taller but since the belt could be worn anywhere due to it's velcro closure, it all worked out fine. Though the fabric is very stretchy and somewhat see-through because it's white, I didn't feel that it was cheap or thin. If I had paid a lot more I might have felt that way. The seams were in great shape and I danced the night away without worrying about anything. Also, I hung the dress and steamed it right before wearing it - if you don't have a steamer then you could steam it with an iron through a towel but I wouldn't try to iron it directly because it could burn. So the belt......yes, it is plastic and yes, I used a silver sharpie marker to "fill in" a little bit where the paint was not covering well -- again, you do get what you pay for so I was not annoyed, I had given myself time to make adjustments if needed. The belt was slightly "yellower" than the dress but again, it did not make a difference and it glowed as well as the dress in the black lights at the party. The velcro was large enough that the belt could accommodate a larger waist or be worn lower on the hips, which is how I chose to wear it. The wig fit surprisingly well since I have a VERY small head and buy kids baseball hats. The wig really "made" the outfit and people at the party said they didn't recognize me at first so I guess it did it's job. I did receive the costume almost two weeks before Halloween and took the wig out of the package and "hung" it on a lampshade because it was a bit squished from being in a bag. All in all, I would have been happy to pay twice as much for what I received -- I made a joke that I was fulfilling a childhood fantasy with the costume and I meant for myself but a few people inquired whether it was my boyfriend's fantasy I was fulfilling so I guess it was a sexier costume than I thought!! I'm sure I could wear it again or sell it on eBay with the boots and get back practically what I paid for the ensemble.

Ho acquistato questo costume di Principessa Leia per mia moglie, e siamo estremamente soddisfatti della qualità e dell'effetto che ha avuto durante il Carnevale. Mia moglie si è davvero divertita a indossarlo e ha ricevuto numerosi complimenti per il suo aspetto! Il costume include il vestito, la cintura e la parrucca, tutti realizzati in poliestere e di taglia media. La vestibilità è stata perfetta per mia moglie, e la lunghezza del vestito era adeguata per un look elegante e seducente, proprio come quello della principessa Leia nei film di Star Wars. La qualità del materiale è buona, e il costume è resistente e ben rifinito. Mia moglie ha indossato il costume per diverse ore e si è sentita comoda. È stato possibile lavarlo sia a mano che in lavatrice a 30 gradi, il che è stato davvero comodo per mantenerlo pulito e pronto per eventuali occasioni future. La parrucca inclusa nel costume era di buona qualità e ha reso il look di mia moglie ancora più autentico. Ha davvero completato l'aspetto di Principessa Leia e ha reso il costume ancora più realistico. È stato anche un'ottima scelta per noi, dato che io mi sono mascherato da Darth Vader e nostro figlio da Kylo Ren. Abbiamo formato una squadra di Star Wars perfetta! Consiglio vivamente questo costume di Principessa Leia di Rubies. È un costume di alta qualità, ben rifinito e molto divertente da indossare. Se vuoi essere la principessa ribelle di Star Wars e lasciare un'impressione duratura alle feste di Carnevale o ad altri eventi a tema, questo costume è sicuramente la scelta perfetta. Das ist jetzt nicht ein super originalgetreues Kleid, aber es sieht auf den ersten - und auch den zweiten - sehr gut aus. Wir haben das Kleid für unseren Star Wars Stammtisch gekauft, da wir für eine Veranstaltung, in der alle Mitglieder unterwegs waren, dringend eine Leia im weißen Outfit benötigten. Bilder dazu gibt es bei uns auf der Webseite www-sw-stammtisch.de. Wer eine entsprechende Figur hat, sieht damit auch entsprechend sexy aus. Die beigelegte Perücke ist nicht wirklich toll, reicht aber für den Notfall. Unsere Leia verfügte zum Glück über genügend Haare, sodass wir die typische Leia-Frisur ohne die Perücke machen. Generell - das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Die Qualität ist angemessen und ok.
