Perfect for rug/mat. This non slip underlay works perfectly. I've purchased this item twice now, for different rugs. It can also easily be cut, into smaller sizes to suit and in fact this purchase was used for 3 small rugs!! Great value and it works. I've also used 2 whole ones of these, under a large rug too (160 × 230) and then just put a small piece of double sided carpet tape, in each corner. The rug doesn't move at all, which I just what I wanted. Obviously, you don't have to add tape under corners, but we have young Grandchildren running round and didn't want them pulling it about. Highly recommended product.......

Before buying the underlay, I dutifully read all the reviews, and it was 50/50, but the price had been reduced and I needed an odd shape which I obviously needed to cut myself, so I crossed my fingers and went ahead with the purchase. When it arrived and I'd cut the shape I needed, I was disappointed to find that it was the negative 50 who'd won. The rug slipped and slid on the laminate floor. But I noticed that the underlay adhered well to the underside of the rug. So, not wanting to have wasted my money, I turned it over and it worked!! It doesn't slip at all! Evidently the one side of the underlay is "stickier" than the other and there's a 50/50 chance of laying it correctly the first time down. To all those reviewers who gave the underlay less than five stars, try turning it over :)

Works well and does the job, stops my rug slipping on the wooden floor. Could have got a bit more for the price, though.

While not 100% effective in keeping our mats in place on a smooth tiled floor, this comes pretty close. Whereas previously the mats would wander at will now that stay almost exactly where put with just the minimum travel amounting no more than a centimter or more over a day or two. Easy and simple to fit, just cut to size and place under the mat, and that's all there is to it.At the time of wriiting this as also the best value I could find for size and price.

My mum raves about this. It does work well but i still have a bit of movement which i wasnt expecting. I wanted it to be very secure. Would still recommend

Only suitable for hard/smooth surfaces like vinyl or wood. I thought it might work with an entrance runner and rugs but it doesn't; runner/rugs still move albeit a little less.

Works quite well but not absolutely perfect. You can still slip if you step on the rug without any care. But does what we wanted.

Does the Job and does not slip. Stick the the rug and floor.
