I bought this for my 80 year old grandmother, who after being told once by the doctor that her blood pressure was a little high, she decided that she needed to start checking it herself. I agreed and bought her this.What I did not realise is that she wanted to check her blood pressure three times a day, seven days a week, and ring me with the results, three times a day, seven days a week. Nor did I realise she would encourage her 82 year old sister to start checking hers 3 times a day, 3 days a week when she came to visit and give me those results also.Given that my grandmother took around 2 months of training to be able to make a call on a mobile phone that a toddler could have used, it is nothing short of a miracle that she learnt to use this machine in under 12 minutes.The machine is simple, straight forward and easy to read. Even for technically challenged 80 year olds.For anyone buying this for an elderly relative, please be aware that once in possession of this they have an inexplicable excitement over the results and have the instant urge to call you with them.If they happen to hit the magical, perfect 120/80 reading then heaven help you. I thought granny had won the lottery the day that happened.Given granny's non stop use of this machine on herself, her sister and anyone else who happens to walk through the door on a daily basis, in some bizarre blood pressure competition smack down, it's battery life has been incredible so that is another plus point.For anyone interested, granny's blood pressure this morning is 132/74.

item arrived next day as promised and my wife is very pleased with it. the product is compact and the pouch supplied is good and the monitor can be taken away on holiday etc.as mentioned by another reviewer it is essential the instructions are read and the monitor set up prior to use.. this is easily done by following the instructions although as an (oldie) I found the printiing in thebook extremely small. no complaints to date and I would recommend the product and the supplier.

This is a nice compact, easy to use device.Frustratingly mine repeatedly gave an "ERR 10" reading.I emailed asking if they could explain what that meant, was it how I might be using it or is it likely to be faulty?But I didn't receive a reply, so I sent it back.Regarding the device itself, it seemed to give me a very high blood pressure reading.Thinking it might be exaggerating things a little, I asked my wife and our youngest daughter to give it a try.Their readings seemed to be within a 'normal' sort of range, but mine remained stubbornly very high.A side benefit of sending it back because of the ERR 10 reading is that I now don't subject myself to those very high readings so, hopefully, I might get to live a little longer. There's no way I could continue to live for very long with those sorts of blood pressure levels so I suppose I need to seek a device which might give me somewhat lower readings and, maybe, a little longer to live.Fingers crossed!!

Item arrived next day, and it was exactly as described. It came inside a little box with a brief instruction manual and a little bag to store the device.It is very easy to set up (and I would recommend setting up the date and time so that you can look back at previous readings), and so far it seems pretty reliable. It saves around 60 readings and I believe it can have up to 2 users (though I cannot comment on that, I have only set up 1 user). It is very easy to see previous readings in case you wanted to compare or show your doctor.

It's exactly what I wanted. Although it's fairly heavy, unlike most blood pressure monitors it is more portable in that it has no long tube attaching it to the cuff.. Instead,the inflatable cuff has been integrated into the machine but it works every bit as well as the more traditional types of blood pressure monitors provided you make sure that is at the same level as your heart. I found that its reading was within a few percent of of my traditional Omron monitor with my arm resting on the table. So the take home story is that if you want a heart-rate and blood pressure monitor that you can take around the house with you or even when visiting friends, this may be the machine for you. I should add that this is my honest opinion of the device and I was not offered, nor would I have accepted, any discount for writing it.

Awful waste of money , doesnt work.... just gives continuous error (E1) message.....instructions so small you need a magnifying glass to decipher them, and when you do they are no help! Not happy

As a person who needs to monitor blood pressure, heart rate and heart beat, I found this small, but useful device, excellent. Firstly, it is accurate, having checked it with two other monitors. Secondly, it is easy to use. Just slip it on your wrist, monitor window on the inner palm side of your wrist and aim the monitor to face your chest where your heart is situated. Press the button and away it goes. I found this monitor particular useful as I have atrial fibrillation and the monitor alerts me when to take extra medication. Thirdly, it is small, light and easy to travel with. It has a bag to protect the monitor. Delivery was prompt and I am very pleased with my purchase.
