Well made. Seems robust. Stainless steel. Good weight. Larger than I expected. Works well with steaks,pork chops ,chicken filets and of course burgers. I recommend.

This is a very high quality tool. The weight is very good, and holds down bacon that likes to curl up. Which is horrible if you want a crunchy rind and fat that is rendered. This would be great on a bbq. It can absolutely handle the heat. The handle being wood never got hot. Easy to clean. The underside has no ridges and is completely flat, which I wanted. You can even use it for grilling sandwiches, burgers. It’s just so good. I know this tool will last longer than my grill I have! That reminds me I need a new grill…..

I wanted to make smash burgers, and used to just use my metal potato masher with some greaseproof paper. This worked, but not super well. I also wanted something to use with my BBQ griddle pan to keep foods flat while crisping up. This is super helpful, heavy enough, and sturdy too. Although easy to clean, I would recommend still using greaseproof paper with it when possible.

This is a nice size that had just enough weight to work with various meats and thicknesses. It will speed the cooking process so you must use a lower heat and check internal temps more often. Bacon comes out really nice and evenly cooked edge to edge, but it will be bacon bit texture if you are not watchful. I use parchment paper disk for burgers, chops, chicken, etc., but not for bacon. It makes it non stick and clean up is really easy. The large size keeps splatters and mess to a minimum. The product itself is a grade of stainless that is magnetic, but I had no issues with it getting hot using it on an inductive cook top. I would change the wooden handle to a high heat plastic one for more hygienic use and durability. I would also round out the outer edge and weld rather than rivet the item. Overall, I think that the item is very good value at $35.

I love this press. Being stainless steel makes clean up easy, and I don’t have to worry that my dear wife washed the seasoning off it, like cast iron. It’s been used several times since we bought it and works great on the griddle we use in house (non-stick type) and on our outdoor cast iron griddle. Wife loves that’s it’s about half (or less) the weight of my cast iron presses and that she can put it in the dishwasher. The handle is well constructed and should last. I set it on the griddle to heat up as I’m heating the griddle, then hit it with a short blast of cooking spray, no sticking. We like center cut bacon, and this press will mostly cover 3 strips length wise. Using medium low heat (2 out 10) on gas stove, bacon cooks in just a few minutes without curling. I like the price too and the quality. I’m ordering a second one, so I can have 6 strips of bacon on the griddle at a time.

Nice and heavy and very easy to clean.

I have yet to use it on the griddle and have yet to buy a griddle (soon)....but this item will definitely work perfectly! It has a good weight to it and the handle will hold up to anything you can use it for. I expect years of good use from this Press.
