Great buy, value for money and no flies!!!
Very easy to install although I will reserve judgement on how long the adhesion of the Velcro lasts not having this type of screen before!Magnetic closure very good and now my cat has mastered the art of coming and going through the proper entrance no danger of him destroying it by scratching! Mesh nice and strong and small holes ensure the flying insects stay outdoors!Great buy!

The best I have ever used!
I have used lots of other brands for many years from discount stores, JML, online items rated 5* but this is the very best I have bought. Strong velcro all around, no short pieces like you get on the others. Enclosed magnets which wont fall off and the mesh is stronger. Up to now it has stayed ' Grandchildren proof' they destroyed ones in the past when they went in or out. Can't recommend it enough!Just to add to my review. It is now 02nd November and I am about to take it down and store for next year. ALL my previous net curtains have gone in the bin. Not this one!

To big for my door
Having taken it out of the packaging and put on velcro to edges, the quality of the item does seem good. The magnetic strips do pull together when near each other. Unfortunately when my husband went to put it up, its a little to large for our door. About an inch and a half her reckons. We were trying to put it on our back door, with bricks surrounding the door. I have no issues other than it not fit my door but will give it to my daughter for her door. My friend has one and loves it.UPDATE.... I have just purchased another one for my mother in law who used the last one. She uses it on her conservatory doors and she thinks it does a great job and works well.

Works perfectly. Quick installation. Very effective.
Very good for the money. Everything needed was included. The adhesive on the Velcro is actually very strong. The magnetic closure of the screens works very well and is easy to open again, closing neatly behind you.Our 2 dogs manage this well, still coming in and out.Our door was slightly narrower than the the fly screen so I simply fitted the adhesive Velcro tape along the top edge of the door and applied the Velcro screen to it from both top outer corners and pushed it down working towards the centre. Then I folded the centre over on it's self once (took up the slack) and pushed 2 pins in to hold the overlapped screen in place. Works a treat and still works perfectly.Looks neat. Best option available on the market for price as far as I'm concerned.

Heavy duty. Effective. Real quality product.
Does the job effectively. Still let’s fresh air through. Buy it! You will not be disappointed. I may send this single one back or give it to my friend as I reordered and purchased a double one instead. This is heavy duty and is of fantastic quality! Easy to put up. Easy to move through it and it snaps shut immediately behind you. Keeps all insects out and slugs. I wish I had purchased it earlier in the year as I had two wasp nests directly outside my door. I also had to cover food from flies. Absolutely No problems now. Looks good too and you can see through it easily. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Twice as much as cheaper screens, who is the best (hoobest)? this is by a country mile
The weight of the package said there was something considerable inside, opening the shipping bag revealed a resealable bag with the screen inside and an A4 colour sheet as the box front.Removing the screen from the bag there was a roll of grip tape and some pins, along with the weighty screen. All magnets were installed, the top of the screens two panels were sewn together and the other part of the grip tape was already installed.I'd wiped the door frame down with some cleanser, applied the roll of grip tape, pressed it down and then offered up the screen, pressed the top in plane and then worked down the sides. It is a few inches too long as the frame has a step which just fails to allow the bottom magnets to attract to each other. There is a convenient very short magnet at the very bottom, some industrial 12mm wide 3M tape accross the bottom of the screen, folding it up to the limit of the magnets and the screen is now the prefect size and no scissors involved. The quality of this screen just from the fixing in place of it and the closing when the dog uses it, a breeze passes through and clearly insects stay outdoors where they need to be.I've spent £5 each year for maybe the last 7 or more years on thin, universal (huge) screens which don't fit well or feel as thought they are of any true quality and I find this screen at a cost where I wouldn't bark at the cost each year, but where the quality of the screen is such that it can be taken down and put away ready for next year and indeed, I think the following five years.Funny how it can take so long to find the right product, but so pleasing when you do find it and without being robbed for fancy boxes and the like.Unlike cheaper screens this has the magnest sewn into the screen, and the left and right parts of the screen and joined at the top, the quality of the grip tape is great with one side being factory fitted, so you only need to get the frame cleaned and degreased ready to install the top and then the sides of the screen.

Cheap, works but nightmare to remove.
A cheap way of reducing the amount of flies. We live on a farm and in the summer and early Autumn flies are a major problem. This was very quick and easy to use. The dogs and cat soon learned how to dart in and out. It did not always magnetically join back together , but a quick flick outwards would set it right. It is only getting three stars as we have kust taken it down and the velcro has made the whote upvc turn yellow. We also had to stick one side on the window of the adjoining patio doorThe sticky residue is proving a nightmare to remove.Just want to add that months later we are still trying to remove the residue for the sticky stuff. Gallons of sticky stuff remover and a whole lot of elbow grease and it is still there.
