No, you have to buy the holder separately.

How do you keep the inscence sticks lit? Mine seem to smoke for a bit then go out

lite the incense stick and once it flames blow the flame out and it should have a red ember glow on the end and it should the slowly burn down releasing the aroma

Do you get the holder with the sticks?

Yes you do. I don’t know if they can be bought without the holder
