Samsung Galaxy J3 all carriers, 16gb, 2017 UK SIM-Free Smartphone - Black

Brought this to replace my blackberry q10 which I dropped one too many times. It's a very good phone- big, but not TOO big. You can change the sizes of things and customize it, the only problem is that each thing has it's own settings, and adjusting them all exactly so is a bit fiddly. But it has a good battery life. If you turn the mobile data off you can still check your emails, and it stays at 100% all day- I had it on from 8am to 6pm and even when I put the mobile data and google play on to go running it only went down to 99%.The only thing I would change is that the headphone bit is on the bottom- I like it on the top just out of pure common sense, but that's the only thing. It's a good phone, and you can use a uk sim on it even though it says it's from Europe you can do it straightaway. It's not as sturdy as I would perhaps like. but then I am being very cautious because it cost so much money. I haven't had any problems with it, and the camera is good.The biggest challenge was setting it up- but if you google how then there's a carphone warehouse page that takes you through step by step- go on google and use that, else you'll get too bogged down in all the different things you can do with it.Also the contacts/texts don't transfer from the old phone, but that's more a problem of the sim card than anything else. You just have to save your old phone if you want to keep them so badly.

I'm a motorcycle courier and a smartphone is "part of the uniform" so it's important to get one that does the job and the Samsung Galaxy J3 does the job. It's a 5 inch screened smartphone with a 2400 mAh, non-removable battery. The Android version is 9 on the phone I received which takes a little getting use too.Setup was easy, the phone was in a state of discharge, only 20 percent so I charged the phone then setup.After the basic set up I then disabled all the apps I didn't need then installed 2 apps which are related tomy job. The I allowed the phone to get all the updates and now the phone is ready for use. BUT HANG ON!!! The battery level dropped really quickly so I was going to charge it up again. After charging I installed the Sim card which wasn't to difficult to fit. Now I'm ready to rock 'n' roll.As I am using this phone as a mobile device for courier work the App's I need are drainers, mainly because I am tracked by the courier company. When I used the phone for the first working day I had no issues at all and the battery needed a boost in the middle of the afternoon. I would point out that this happens whatever phone I use because of the drainers. So the phone was holding up well and I plugged in a 2400 mAh power bank which charged the phone and by the time I got home the battery was fully charged.Because of the full battery I powered down the phone overnight so I wouldn't need to charge it again till the same time the next day. I did this for 2 weeks so no battery issues to worry about.The phone is fast and doesn't hang and switching between apps is smooth and quick, I've made a few phone calls to try out and it works well.NOTE** GPS, as mentioned I'm tracked by the courier company, I've got the GPS/location on the highest setting. I've not had any complaints from my control team that they can't see me on tracking which means this phone really is doing the job.Only two downsides to the phone, the non replaceable battery and the bloatware which is why this phone only gets 4 stars.

This phone arrived with slight marks on screen, the phone charger did not charge the phone, I had to use an old charger, didnt hold charge for more than 3hrs, despite little use, no indiction of low battery, just would turn its self off. Not able to install my banking app on it, it said not compatable for this phone.and when arrived did not look the same as the photo's on Amazon, the back was completely different to the photo's. Was a replacement for my old phone, supposed to be same model, year etc, but was completly different. Could not give any stars im afraid.

It's a very cheap phone, which is a great phone if you do not use any storage on your phone.If you start downloading apps and storing pictures your storage will quickly become full (took myself about 3 months) and then it is a constant struggle clearing space.Unless you do not use the phone for anything else then calling/texting you are better off with a bit more expensive phone with more storage.Software updates will quickly make this phone redundant. Most of storage is already taken up by operating system and Samsung UI.

I thought long and hard about purchasing this previously owned Samsung phone and what condition it may be in as I’ve only ever bought from new in the past. Having purchased the phone I was really happy to find it was in mint condition. Like a brand new phone in fact.. The seller had done a great job ininsuring it was in pristine before selling & supplying as advertisedThis is my first Samsung mobile phone, after having two previous Sony mobiles. The initial set up was very good and I am delighted with all the features. The camera with the auto-focus gives excellent results and battery life I’m finding is above average. The price was exceptional and delivery was quick. Would use this seller again. I've had the phone for couple weeks now no issues. It’s real easy to use and I’m enjoying using it. I'll definitely think about purchasing a refurbished phone again in the future both for the cost saving and also reducing the environmental burden on our planet..

I like the super clear screen ... photo's are great ... it does the internet and it works as a phone too ... what more could I want

It's a very good phone recommended camera not bad good for a first phone!
