Very good spice blender, ease of use, coffee grinder
Previous set lasted over ten years, no issues with leaking or grinding. However, with time broke all the glass jars, by dropping them on the floor. Could have replaced jars, but it was cheaper to replace whole unit, with three glass jars included. Use for grinding spices, and making sauces, dips etc. Only trick is when grinding whole ginger, garlic etc is to add a bit of water, otherwise does not work. Never brought icing sugar at twice price of granulated sugar as grind that and icing sugar is achieved. Also use for grinding coffee beans and cinnamon sticks. For coffee machines avoid ones with grinder and use this instead, much cheaper.

Fantastic attachment!
This has to be one of the most practically, and beautifully, designed attachments Kenwood makes. The heavy glass jars are a pleasure to handle and feel as if throwing them against a wall would break the wall. The super-sharp blades do their job evenly and efficiently in seconds. For me, the very best thing is having four jars. Even if you only need a small quantity of something 'right now', you can make a reasonable amount and store it for later without having to dirty another container. Anything that cuts down on the washing up is a bonus! As for the blades separating from the base when removed from the jar after blitzing, well, I rather like it! I wouldn't let children anywhere near them, of course, but for an averagely competent adult it makes it so much easier to scrape/brush anything stuck to the blades directly into the jar without faffing around separating them from the base.Quite frankly, I find doing that far more nerve-wrackingly unpredictable. I love this attachment as much as I love the AT936B pasta maker, which probably amounts to an unhealthy obsession:-)

Superb quality and ease of use.
Some reviews mention difficulty in attaching blade etc. It is so simple and clean to use. I think some reviewers are trying to add blade and base at the same time. Simply place the blade on jar first, then screw on the base, all upside down of course. Simple to use and clean. Grinds coffee beautifully. 4 pots with lids. A simple pleasure.

Kenwood Mini Chopper Attachment AT320A
When I splashed out and replaced my very old Kenwood Chef with a superb new top of the range machine I also bought a food processor, mincer, and liquidiser jug attachments - but didn't get a Mini Chopper Mill simply because I had a small electric "Mouli" - which inevitably soon died! So when I spotted an offer on Amazon for a Mini Chopper/Mill at the same price as a stand alone electric variety I thought why not save space and add another Kenwood tool to my collection. When the little Mini Chopper/Mill arrived I was amased at how heavy the box was, and when I opened it I discovered why. Althouhg the base of the mill is plastic the jar on the top is extremely thick glass, absolutely bomb proof - typically Kenwood! The fact that you also get 3 spare jars, with lids, is a real bonus. You can process ingredients and then simply pop them on the shelf until you need them - in very neat stylish jars! I was also delighted to discover the mill was extremely compact, well made, and the blades extremely sharp. Initially I was concerned that it would not perform as well as my old stand alone electric machine - until I tried it! In just a couple of seconds it reduced a jar full of full "raw" garam masala to a fine smooth powder, a couple of tablespoons of coffee beans into beautiful filter coffee, and in even shorter time it chopped a handful of fresh herbs perfectly. I then enjoyed quite a few minutes experimenting [or playing] with ingredients raging from granulated sugar to nutmeg and the Mini Chopper/Mill handled them all with extreme ease - very efficiently. Hardly surprising when it has the huge power of a Chef underneath it! Cleaning the unit is far simpler than an electric variety as it instantly comes apart into three easily handled components - the base - the blade assembly - and the jar. Obviously you do have to be careful when washing the blades -when Kenwood say "sharp" they really mean it. Overall I am delighted with my new Kenwood accessory but, as you can see, I have not given it five stars for one simple reason. When using a small chopper/mill, of any type, you inevitably invert the container to add the ingrediatents you are working on, and then lock on the base whilst still inverted, to stop anything falling out. Then, when you've processed the contents you reverse the process for the very same reason. With my old electric machine this was an extremely simple if not cumbersome manouever [although cleaning it afterwards was not]. However the Kenwood seems to have no way of retaining the blade unit into the base whilst inverted so you have to get used to handling three loose components, not just two. Although the Kenwood is so much easier to clean than a two piece electric machine it would have been much nicer if the blades and base stayed firmly together whislt inverted. Perhaps it's just that I'm an old engineer but I do think Kenwood could have found a simple solution to this minor annoyance. Notwithstanding the Mini Chopper's slight design error it really does precisely what it says on the box, and a lot more, and instantly became a very welcome addition to my kitchen, and my Kenwood collection. In a "disposable world" it's really good to find something so substantial - I have absolutely no doubt that the Mini Chopper together with its Kenwood Chef power source will probably outlive me, and then be passed onto a very gratefull offspring.

Brilliant, I love it and use it all the ...
Brilliant, I love it and use it all the time for spices, and for mixing thai pastes, indian pastes, chinese pastes. I find it a bit stiff to push onto the working part of the Kenwood it needs to fix onto so my husband has to do it for me sometimes and you do have to be careful screwing the glass part with your spices etc in onto the plastic part that fixes onto the Kenwood. But it really does a good job and so quickly. I am sure if you wanted it to make childrens food it would be excellent for that as well. It comes with 4 glass tops but I have only used the one as I tend to only make a spice or a paste mix and then use it all. The spares would be wonderful if you were mixing baby food as you could mix quite a few batches and keep them in the fridge.

This is such a good accessory
A stand-alone spice grinder costs about 15 pounds. So why buy this? Because it is such a well-designed piece of kit! Firstly, it has 4 jars where you can keep your freshly milled stuff. Four. This is great for when you grind some spices and don't use them all - just put the jar away. All 4 jars have lids. Secondly - it can grind much more than spices. I use it to mince garlic and ginger, lemongrass etc. Just add a little water. It also feels sturdy and well made. I have bought those cheap, standalone grinders in the past and they have broken after ~6 months.
