Okay so the gift cards do actually work, but instead of redeeming through the app, you may need to redeem them through their website by logging in online. When you copy over the gift code be sure to delete any spaces or it will give an error

Paid £25 for a giftcard and recipient advised the card did not work. I tried the code from my phone and laptop and it didn't work either. Just eat advised no issue with their app or website and card showed as being expired or invalid. Amazon told me I will receive a refund in 5-7 days and would have to repurchase the giftcard. I paid £30 for another giftcard after Amazon assured me the error is rare and won't happen again. Apologised to my friend and gave the new card details... only to have the same issue again! Giftcards not working and now I've spent £55 and have no gift for my friend and have to wait a week for my money to be returned! Ended up having to just order them a takeaway from the app myself, which wasn't really the idea, so now I've spent £85 today for a £30 take away gift! Honestly i spent 2 hours trying to get it resolved and it has been a nightmare to try and sort, so I recommend avoiding these.
