I LOVE IT! (son, not so much LOL)
My 8yo is a toe walking autist who is already showing signs of Achilles tightening. We do stretches and all of that, but 20 minutes of stretching everyday is not enough to combat 14 hours of toe walking. He wears a size 1 shoe and the medium *barely* fits, so if you're on the cusp of the size ranges, go up one. That said, THIS WORKS! He immediately puts his heels down to avoid the sensation. The flipside is that he chooses to sit down pretty soon, too, so it'll take time to get him accustomed to wearing them for more than a few minutes at a time. Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with that. Again, he's 8yo, so this behavior has been around a while and will take time and patience to reverse. I hope buyers consider that when using: the longer they've been showing a behavior (toe walking), the more time and effort it will take to eliminate. I would suggest pairing these with a behavior modification program at home, something simple like a reward for every 5 minutes wearing them (then 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20, etc) until the reward isn't needed anymore. I promise every caregiver reading this can do this with a little bit of research. I would suggest focusing more on rewarding the wanted behavior as this tends to give better results overall. Also, many kids on the ASD spectrum don't understand consequences very well, but rewards work. Be patient, be consistent, and stay positive.(I am a trained therapist with a focus in behavior modification therapies. This advice is *not* to be construed as medical advice. As always, consult your trusted health professionals and use your best judgment. YOU are the expert in your kid and their greatest advocate, don't ever forget that.)

Worst purchase; waste of money
This literally does NOTHING. My child have a brace n she wears this in the house n brace to school. This doesn’t prevent her from tipping n she easily remove it, even if it’s in shoes or socks. Just expensive for nothing.

Not for us
I think for some this could work, however my 7 year old would not keep them on, she complained of it still hurting even when not toe walking. Although she did admit that it was even more uncomfortable on her toes. We have better luck with stiff shoes that make it hard to toe walk (vans have been good so far, rain boots, and even her rainbow flip flops she struggles to toe walk in. Barefoot, flats, keens - she toe walks more)

Not very good at all
Thse things are about worthless. They constantly fall off. The extra strap helps, but doesn't solve the issue. Very dissapointed.

Pleasantly surprised!
I’ll be honest, at first I was super skeptical, “how can a little strap stop toe walking”, but I went with it anyways hoping it would work. And… I’m.. WOW! My 3yo who is severely flat footed and has extreme toe walking has not used his toes all morning wearing these. There is a teeny tiny bar that sits under his 3 toes and it ever so slightly lifts the toes, forcing the heel down. As soon as they came off he was back to his toes. But I am VERY pleasantly surprised by how well these work!! For reference our boy is 3, and is wearing an XS perfectly.

Don't buy this.
She got used to these inside 36 hours. They didn't keep her on her heels for even two days. I kept trying to make her wear them anyway for about a week, but they fell apart. Wish I hadn't bothered.

Well Done
I was skeptical based off the mixed reviews but I thought I'd give it a try.Day 1: putting these on was fairly easy. I have a 2 yr old and she was more curious as I was putting them on. I got the XS bc of her size and they fit well when adjusted correctly. When i took her off the couch and on the floor I had very low hopes but man she was walking flat for the first time in her life. Idk how it works and IDC how I just know it works. So this is definitely preventing her from walking on her toes. I will give it a solid week and see what she does when I take them off. But the only time she will have them off is nap time and bath time.
