Brilliant idea!
Bought for my son who has learning difficulties. Its a brilliant idea, and has been a great success. The colour coding is easy to use. I didn't think it would last long, but it's a good quality wee keyboard and will get lots of use.

Cost cutting design mistakes make this keyboard tragic.
The keyboard works, however you can tell someone designed this then someone else came along and changed everything to reduce the manufacturing cost. It's awfulThe keyboard plastic back has already warped meaning it doesn't sit flush on a flat surface.Secondly, the rubber feet are totally pointless. They don't contact the surface it's resting on because someone came along and made all the screws in the back protrude more than the actual feet. The net result is the feet don't touch anything and instead hang in the air whilst the keyboard slides all over the place.Overall one star. A good attempt, totally ruined by costcutting.

Good colourful keyboard but feels lightweight
Used in a new Windows 8.1 build. Installed without a hitch and works fine but it just feels a little lightweight and I'm not sure if it will standup to heavy use. Colourful wired keyboard with upper and lower case key lettering and easy to use. Fingers crossed it lasts.

Better than the packaged keyboard
The keyboard that came with my desktop looked good but the keys soon became unreliable, as did the USB cable. I caught sight of one of the colourful keyboards in a magazine and thought - why not? I prefer the black case as it is a great contrast to the coloured keys, whereas the white cased version just looked cheap and insipid. The grandson spotted the new keyboard straight away and wanted to try it - he's two! I love the move away from the all black 'business office' look and would certainly get another if this one failed but so far everything is holding up well. Cable is reliable, key 'feel' is nice but I did have to increase the keyboard angle with a couple of blocks at the back and added the wrist rest from the defunct keyboard to make it more comfortable and less utilitarian to use. Negatives? The ' / ' printing is missing from the ?/ key and the uppercase P key print is a little thin in the top left corner of the key but other than that it's a great keyboard at a great price!

Not for clumsy people. Or gamers.
I can recommend this keyboard for visually oriented (e.g. autistic) children or even adults. Each class of key is a different colour, allowing a user who can't touch-type to quickly narrow their focus to the correct part of the keyboard. The row of red keys along the top evokes memories of the BBC micro, although the resemblance stops there. Unlike most of the children's keyboards I've seen, this one is a full PC105 layout; however, the control key block is offset from its usual position. Ergonomically it has the same issues as any other keyboard in its price bracket. The alphabetic keys have both the usual upper case (capital) letters, and also lower case. This is very helpful as modern teaching methods emphasise phonics in the early stages, typically utilising lower case characters. One minor problem: I've had to buy two of these. The box states that it's waterproof. That may be the case, but it's not milkproof. The first one didn't last 24 hours before it was spilt on. I waited a few weeks to see if it would recover once it dried out (sometimes they do), but alas it was dead. I bought another because of the positives noted above, but I resent having to do so.[EDIT: The first one (from Wishtrac) had the red number keys both along the top and on the keypad, as in the picture. The second (from Peripheral_Centre) only had a red keypad, with the main number keys being blue. I've swapped the keycaps from the broken one to the new one as my youngest was getting confused. Both units are labelled as model LK810 so I don't know why the difference.][EDIT 2: It turns out that, if dropped, the keycaps are prone to pop off. As everyone in our household has impaired coördination, this is a problem. I don't think I'll be buying another when it is broken beyond repair.][EDIT 3: It just gets worse. Now that the kids have discovered SuperTuxKart, I've discovered that this keyboard only has a 2 key rollover. Sadly, that seriously affects gameplay, which is worthy of another lost star.]

Perfect
Perfect for the whole family. I have it at my desk and use it for work as it is laid out and functions just as a normal keyboard. My 4 year old daughter is using it to practice her familiarity with capital and small letters and also to begin the basics of using a computer. We're very happy with it and would recommend it.

Great keyboard
Great keyboard purchased on basis of reviews one in particular as I was using it with my iMac. The number lock light does not light up when using it with an iMac which i was not concerned about but the @ key is the no 2 key and visa versa which is a bit confusing for my daughters but they love the keyboard so I think i may have to modify it by putting the correct icons on the keys with stickers. The keyboard arrived quickly and would definitely buy from this seller again.

0/10 for durability
0/10 for durability. This got some water spilled on it on day two and it killed part of the keyboard permantly. I've had laptops become completely submerged in water and after prolonged periods of drying have still worked. I've even washed keyboards out under the tap with washing up liquid after juice siplls and left them for a week on a radiator to dry out and had them work fine. If this can't take a small spill without it killing it off then the build quality is dreadful.
