Update Silent Operation 4-Blade Heat Powered Stove Fan for Wood/Log Burner/Fireplace - Environment Friendly [Energy Class A+++]

I came to buy another one of these as I have a very large room And unfortunately no longer available I thought I’d have a second one point in a different direction. It’s quiet efficient and I’ve had no problems with it

Moves the heat around in the kitchen, wouldn't be without it now and makes a huge difference in the winter It is put to bed in the summer.

The media could not be loaded.  I have two stoves, one in a large, open plan room that heats the house and a smaller one in a ‘cosy’ room. This was bought for the smaller stove so that rather than the heat going straight up into ceiling space of the room and then out of the door frames that have no doors only curtains, the heat would be pushed into the room from the stove top. I had seen a few of them in pictures and my friend had bought one for his small stove on his Narrow Boat to spread the heat.I am truly amazed that this fan works. No batteries, no mains, just the direct heat transmission from the top of the stove and after a few minutes it starts to spin. You don’t get a howling gale from it but it spins very fast and the air is pushed/circulated into the area where the fan is pointing. You can see in the video that I have done, that it continues to work even at low temperature! Simply take it out of the box and put it onto the top of your stove and light the fire. There is also a handy, magnetic, temperature gauge that you can stick onto the stove for an indication if the heat output.This fan increases the output of a wood stove by circulating the warm air it generates directly into the living space. By preventing heat from escaping directly into the roof, the amount of fuel required to achieve a room temperature is reduced, giving increased comfort at lower running costs. It also reduces the impact of burning solid fuel on the environment, especially as it requires no power itself.All in all, this fan is amazing and will just continue to run and run, unlike a lot of things that we buy. So a 10/10 from me and a definite recommendation

Brought this fan in Dec ‘20, and we’ve had it for just over 2 months. The fan has been placed on one of the front corners of the log burner since the day we got it, as suggested in the instructions. It worked a dream every day for just over a month distributing the heat well around the room, but then suddenly it seemed to just start working only intermittently. When you expect it to start working it doesn’t, we even left it for an hour to see if it would start on its own accord like it used to but it didn’t. We then tried holding the fan using the little handle in front of the door of the log burner and it starts after a few minutes. We have continued to do this most days in the last month. We’ve also noticed it will intermittently start and stop working, even when the fire is still burning. Not sure if it’s just a faulty one, but we won’t be buying this same fan again when it completely packs up. The thermometer that came with it seems to work as expected though.

Difficult to find a short fan to fit between the stove and the wall above. This one did the trick. Creates a gentle draft to distribute the heat nicely in the room.

Highly recommended, feel a temperature difference in the room. Gentle but effective hot breeze.

This fan has saved me a lot of firewood, our wood burner sits inside a fire place and this fan really moves the heat out into the room, it is very quiet and hassle free, works straight out of the box

Yes good have 2 of these now. Had 2 before but returned as were not silent. Yes these are a lot more than most on here but you pay for what you get.
